[GI] Question regarding Galaxy Gate

Hi, I'm new to this forum website of Darkorbit so pardon me if I'm at the wrong thread. I just don't know where to post this question of mine.

I just want to now what will happen if I hit "Prepare Jump" on my Alpha Gate while my Beta Gate is active (Activated and on-going) Will my progress on Beta be saved? Will Alpha Gate appear on my home map as well?

Again sorry if I'm asking a rookie question. Any answer will be appreciated.

Your Beta will be fine if you click prepare jump on Alpha, it will appear on your map next to your Beta. They are two separate GG, so you could start your Alpha, jump out then continue the rest of your Beta if you wanted.

All gates that you have erected on your X-1 map will not be effected when adding another gate. While a gate is active the progress you have made is auto saved until you either finish the gate or you lose all your life's.

What they both said is correct.

All that happens when you press "prepare jump" on a Galaxy Gate is a jump portal to that gate appears on your x-1 map (home map), (same way as your beta gate) it does not affect any other gates. You could even have all of the Galaxy Gates built at the same time if you wanted to.

The only reason you might not want to "Prepare Jump" is if you are trying to get more ammo or trying to increase your chances of building one of the triple gates (Alpha, Beta, Gamma) by getting more multipliers.
