[GI] Server lag(high ping) question

Assume, i am playing in Turkey servers and i decided to play Global Europe. If i play Global Europe, will it cause ping due to the distance of the server increased? and lastsly Where are the Darkorbits Servers or which coutry have these severs?

All European servers are located in Germany, so theoretically your ping should remain the same if you were playing on a TR server and decided to play a GE instead.

The only times where ping should differ between the two servers would be if one of the server was have a problem or if your ISP had troubles communicating to one particular server- however that would be unlikely, would be much more common for it to have problems with the whole BP network if it were to happen at all.

All the Americas servers are hosted in California if you happened to be interested about them too.

Hmm, the best browser is a hard one, most people have their favorites however the one I have seen mentioned the most is Maxthon, seen the mods recommend it a few times too. Better to wait for some other people to chime in with their advice on that one though, I'm lucky since I don't lag much on DO at all regardless of browser so not the best to answer that one.

The FPS you can get should be limited by your monitor. Most monitors are 60Hz so they will be capped at 60FPS (sometimes the game will show it as higher for people with good PC), but it will be capped at what your own monitor can actually show. With that said I do not think the game can reach 120 or 144 FPS if you have the appropriate monitors, just because of the limitations of being a browser game.

As for server population, this one really is impossible to give a good answer since only the people working at DO know the answer. I would say GE7 would be "average" population but again we have no idea what average is. Global Europe 1 / Turkey 1 / Global America 1 are the most active servers if you are looking for big populations, but keep in mind building up accounts on those servers are much, much harder than it is on small servers.

barricade666, The "best" browser is a bit subjective and can differ depending on your computer. You can try any browser you would like and see which one works best for you.
