[GI] ship laser type amount question

Is there info somewhere that says how many of each laser type you can put on a ship? Im wondering because I had 3 LF3 lasers on my piranha but when I got the nostromo it would only let me put 2 of them on it. Also I had 2 shield generators on the piranha but can only put 1 on the nostromo.

 

If you have removed them from both configs on the old ship you should be able to fill the slots with as many as you want of any type gun or generator to maximum possible slots. You may have to refresh (restart) the Hangar for the removed equipment to become available for equipping to the other ship.

If you expand the "Inventory" and then filter it to "Weapons" or "Generators" this lets you see all of the inventory of that type whether assigned to a ship or not, and as long as you have it in your inventory (not equipped) you can put it in the designated slots for that item.

 

I tried reloading, restarting pc, made sure nothing was installed on other ships and even tried using internet explorer instead of google chrome, still cannot install the third laser or the second shield generator. also just noticed that when I go back to install them on the piranha, the 3rd laser and the 2nd shield gen show up as able to install but are shaded differently in the inventory.

 

Means they are still installed on the other config.

No problem that is what I try to do Help those with problems.

You get the most out of the ship when you load both configs. One for fighting will have more shields and one for running will have more Speed Generators.
