[GI] Stealing Cargo

We all know that if you steal a cargo which is blue colored* will reduce your honor points but since this new update on new materials such as scrap , prismatium , aurus , etc have the dev team implemented the same penalty for stealing the new materials?

I just want to confirm since someone stole like 4 of my aurus today while i was doing pirates.

*blue colored box can be activated at Settings -> Interface -> Show cargo boxes which are not free

Good question. That stuff does not change colors though so its probably just cargo boxes. I think the penalty is the same for them. The assembly items are probably a free for all but I always thought they only showed up for the first one to shoot the npc.

 

The raw materials will not show up to other players, unless the players are in a group.

Maybe you're right , Aurus is not a 'Cargo' it is an 'Ore' so by the rules is stealing an Ore ..... allowed?

 

All crafting resources are only visible to the player who killed the NPC this also includes Aurus and will stay on the map for the entitled player to collect until the player leaves the map by either dying, jumping to another map or logging out. Once an entitled players as left the map any remaining uncollected resources will disappear. The only exception is Schism from GG's this requires no collection as it is part of the gate rewards.

 

I know that Booty Boxes that are dropped by NPC's show as "Cargo Boxes You Do Not Own", as I have stolen cargo's from enemies on the Pirate maps and had some do the countdown for a Booty Chest instead of giving me cargo ores.

It was commented by one of the mods (I think Solid_Eye), when the A. S. was originally launched they saw these in the maps all the time even though they had not killed any NPC's so I have to ask if this is actually true or not. I also know I lost several ores because of the drop timer and lag so I also question about the ores being available until popped or leaving the map. The frequency of the drops are so low now I don't even see them anymore to be able to test this in my limited play time lately (30 minutes before I freeze out of the game).

 

after testing this my self u can take other peoples Aurus as for other rocks i have never seen a player take another players unless in a group like hadez gate
