    Hi, I have been picking Auruss after a kill. Can anyone tell me what it's used for.

    Currently aurus is a collectible ore from pirate NPCs. It is used a component for the valuable hardware "Micro-transistor" in assembly.

    Auruss is a valuable ore when combined with other ores such as scrap and schism can be crafted to produce as said above Micro transistors, the real magic pays good dividends when the Obsidididian boxes appear as Auruss is vary rare and needed to craft keys to open the special boxes. A simple way to remember is Argentum is silver but Aurum is better for collecting black boxes change gold to black by changing two letters.
