1.2.7 Users are authorized to create multiple accounts on the Portal. Several Games, however, prohibit the use of more than one Account by one and the same User (“prohibition of multi-accounts”). Detailed information is provided in the rules of the respective Game(s). Bigpoint strongly recommends that all Users with multiple Accounts carefully read the respective rules of the Game(s), because the use of multi-accounts in certain Games can lead to an immediate ban of the User.
Furthermore, even in Games permitting Users to have multiple accounts, communication, or any kind of interaction whatsoever, between accounts of the same User is prohibited (ban on “pushing”). In particular, an Account may not be used to create advantages for another Account from the same User, for example, to transfer items or game currency from one Account to another Account of the same User, or to allow one Account to fight against another Account of the same User.

if the above from the terms and conditions is correct, why do players get account bans for popping a different players ship 27 times over 3 hours. is there any rules of the game which give a maximum number of pops a player can give another player.
if i see a player on the game and pop him 27 times why would that warrant an account ban

If a player kills another player multiple times in a short time period then both accounts could end up being flagged and a ban for pushing triggered.

it clearly states in the terms and conditions that pushing is interaction of accounts from the same user. A player that legitimately pops an enemy player that as nothing to do with the account isn't pushing. A pvp game is to be able to pop other players.

Pushing is also when two players conspire to gain an advantage by shooting the co conspiritor player and killing them to gain EP honour and so forth. If you ask a friend to come and do some PvP because you need to a certain ship type to finish a mission and you go and kill him to complete the mission that is also pushing. The server gets suspisous when a player is killed to often by the same player in a short time span and will give both players a ban.

I popped a player 27 times over 3 hours of time. Others were also shooting that player before and after I did. The player did not react to me and was acting suspiciously. There was no agreement between me and the other player and I never gained any rewards after 10 kills as i was getting a notification pop up saying so. The only reason I continued to pop the ship was to destroy the ships drones as it did look like the player was acting suspiciously (if you get my drift)

The warning should have set off alarm bells because once you get a pop up your flagged.

I will just have to accept it, although there is no rules on the number of times a player is allowed to pop another player in a pvp game, nothing is mentioned anywhere in dark orbits t and c's stating a maximum allowed figure.. life goes on...

In this case, you would be guilty of being a "Bully".

To put it plain and clear, you are definitely taking full advantage. You are a stronger ship picking on a weaker ship.(also a form of pushing) I wouldn't be surprised if 27/27 of those kills where cloak slaughter cloak again.

Now killing the same player 27 times over a few days or so is a different story, but in 3 hours? You where abusive.

    Read the T&C again

hi pal, i see your opinion and normally id agree, however the player i popped 27 times was acting suspiciously, appeared to be automated and would always return . it wasn't just myself that popped him . others also did.
it did "appear"he was using a bot so we tried to destroy the ship to pop the drones.
as i said, it appeared to be , cant say for sure but the ship kept returning and didn't interact with the players that were popping him. in future i have learnt that mines can be used to lay down so the player can pop without it registering a kill.

LEON..., The topic of your original question seems to be well answered.
Regarding the Suspect behavior of the other ship, sometimes it is best to allow the scripts to log data and allow Support to deal with the player, as popping the player repeatedly may cause issues with the scripts collecting data. Bots are a bane to us all, but we must be patient, and have faith that Support and the Dev team are doing all they can to eliminate the players that do not have the skill necessary to play the game as it was meant to be played.

Do you have any further questions on this topic or may we close?

    Best regards,
