[GI] WHAT IS SOLACE?

Hi All,

I was out collecting green booty boxes today, and I got a Solace. What is a Solace? I looked in my inventory and I can't find it. I must be missing it or I didn't get it.

If it was a basic solace it would show up in the inventory (unchecked as it is a new ship). If it was a design, scroll down the hangar ships until you see the greyed out Solace ship, click once on it. You should see a drop down box option and if you open it there would be an option to view the basic Solace as well as the design type. To use the design you will have to purchase the basic Solace ship.

Thank you ]Coldheart[ for assisting the user with their question. The Solace ship is a Healer/support ship also available through the Auction and sales page. If you did receive the Ship it would be in your Hangar. If you have received a Solace design it will still be in your hanger, but you will need to own the Ship.

Hi All,

I log on today and there it was. I don't know what happen yesterday because it wasn't there when I log off. I had checked everything too.

So I have a new ship, and now I would like to know is it any good? I fly a G Enforcer. The two ships are similar in weapons and generators. The G has 5% in damage and Solace as 10% shields. I don't have any different kinds of skins for the Solace just the one that came with it.

It is very good, in PvE and in PvP. It's ability (Nano-Cluster Repairer) has 1 minute and 30 second cooldown (45 seconds with double boosters) and heals 50% of your maximum hitpoints and 25% of group members that are in same map than you are. However, Solace is getting pretty huge nerf in my opinion, making it again behind Aegis because of cooldown increase to 8 minutes, self-heal decrease to 45% and group heal decrease to 15%.

 

First off Angus congrats Years ago the Solace was great in outfit and single hunting either PVE or PVP. but years ago is ancient history. Its skill ability like Sapphire describes except 'Outfit' ... in my days I could use the skill for HP rep on any given map including gate maps with the person in 'Outfit' . DO NIXED that calling it an exploit in 'Outfit' and re-coded it to where only players in the same outfit and same map would benefit the Nano-Cluster effect. The Solace is a great little ship for Hades and such where everyone can stack upon each others and use their pet kamika with Solace and lets say add the Aegis/Diminisher and ring/heart/moth to a group and do Hades Gate all day long. Don't forget 'Shared Boosters' as well. Learn your "Ships"... It's kind of like NASCAR ... You have to learn for yourself in order to understand how to build and outfit your ships for Maximum Output from a mechanics point of view and then throw a driver behind the wheel that has no understanding of mechanics and push it to the 'Limits'. That's when the mechanic and pilot become 1
