[SC] level 16 lf4's on drones

    i have 3 lf4's level 16 and 8 drones at level 16 and i usally just put my lf4's on my ship instead of drones, until some1 in chat said that if you put them on your level 16 drones, your level lf4's will hit more. so i put my lf4's on my drones but i didnt see any damage different. do you hit more with level 16 lf4's on drones than you do on your ship and how much more?

    Yes because putting them on ship does nothing while if you put them on your drones you reeive a 10% damage bonus (or 16% if they're level 16 drones)

    If you upgrade your drones - you will get a bonus there :cool:

    and havocs if you have on all drones 10%

    Yeah so totaly bonus on drones is 26%, more if your lasers are upgraded

    Level 16 LF4 in ship will deal 212 damage and LF4 in a level 16 drone will deal 247 damage w/o havocs and 270 with havocs. So lets say you have havocs the damage gain is 58.

    But since you wil take LF3 away from drone when you put LF4 there... LF3 in drone deals 191 damage and in ship 150 damage, so total will be reduced by 41.

    Aaaaaand... when we subtract 41 from 58 we will get 17. So by putting 3 LF4 in drones instead of ship your damage will increase by 17*3 which is 51. With x4 and seprom that is 327 damage points.

    The damage increase is not massive but it is there, it is hard to notice though. If you would have 15 LF4 for example the damage difference between ship and drones would be 1632 (x4 and seprom) which is a massive increase for such a small thing ;)

    (without havocs the damage increase with 3 LF4 in drones would be 192, with 15 LF4 960)
