[SC] Need Cubing Configs help

So It is what it says it is. I have full shields and 45 lf4s 10 drones. I just can't find good configs without it taking too long or sacrificing too much speed. I have ammo but sometimes I do not. I just need help sorting out configs and formations if possible as i have nearly all of them.

I'm not quite sure what exactly you're looking to improve, but I'll tell you what works for me and always has (partly because it's really simple) - I just run a full damage config and use sab/x3 on cubes (usually takes <1 min per cube) and only use drill formation (my speed config I don't even have to switch to, since I can pop the cube before , even in drill, I run out of shield on the tank fig)

 

I run with a 50/50 laser/shields on my drones, 4 speed gens on my shield config (first config of battle) using SAB until the Cube shields are gone and then switch to x2 or x3 ammo, once my shields are gone I switch to my second config, which has 4 shields and the rest speed generators. Cube pops and I run away from the Protegits to heal the ship, allowing my PET to loot the cargo box dropped by the Cube. I do not use any formations and might be better if I did but that is another story. I can kill the Cube in an Aegis and a Goliath ship with these configs, just need the shield repair a couple times in Aegis ship. I have even used Kami a few times to get the Protegit kills when I wanted the extra rewards, or had quests requiring the Protegit kills.

 

I see what you guys mean, Is it worth being prommed cause i always seem to run out of sep ?

 

Many people will use Prom for NPC's and save the Sep for the PvP Hunts. But always have the shields Sepped up, 144 units will give you 24 hours of shield boost (this runs whether in-game or not).

 

I use ring, and run sab/x3 sepped. But I used to run diamond and x2 prom with damage on both configs. Both in goli. I never use prom anymore as I space out my play and send a 9k sep for lasers every other day.

 

Run 500k plus hit points/1st config battle with 500k plus shields doing 50k to 55k dmg /2nd config tank with 500k Shields all lf-4s
doing max dmg./Pet equiped with lvl 3 KAMI. Set your hot keys up in pvp mode. In a way so that you can easily cycle through you
Drone formations, etc. (Personally I run sep on my lasers for 2 reasons People an Cubes because people always attack when u cube
an in reality you don't stand much of a chance if you don't run sep.)

This will allow you to fight the cube with out putting your self at too much of a disadvantage if someone decides they want to pop
u off the cube. If you get good at cycling through your drones with kami you will still have more than 75% of your hit points and
Shields still left. (Even greater effect if using all the toys)

This will also help with PVP timing and tactics

 

just run a 19 shield battle, and a 10 shield speed and do it on diamond, hardly ever have to change cons tbh on x2 sab
