[SC] RIP me

Hello all, you may not know who I am and I haven't played DO in about a year for school purposes, I may have logged on in the holidays just to see this game and how it has developed, and now I'm back to actually play the game again but when I got back this time I lost all my hanger items, I looked in forums and all and yes I heard DO got attacked and some players are complaining about some issues they have, I'm not sure if mine is part of it or not but could anyone explain why I am missing all my items? I never sold anything or did anything to my acc and no one else but me knows the password.

    I took my time and sent this to support to look at my acc but nothing has happened yet, meanwhile imma try and figure out how to upload an image on forums again.

    Spearhead, support is really busy right now ,but I'm sure you will get back all your gear.
     
  3. How long were you actually not logging in, if more than 6 months went by you may be dealing with a NEW account. There were issues of equipment being assigned to multiple ships (of the same type Goliath for example) and this equipment was unable to be found without the help of Support or the Team to look at the account. Duplicated ships were deleted (basic Ships lost if a skill/stat design "NEW SHIP" was assigned to them) and these lost ships were reimbursed but if you had been made aware of the change and removed all designs before the update or had multiple credit ships with equipment assigned then you had some of the equipment go unassigned. My best suggestion is to look in the Hangar (click Manage), in the equipment page select Inventory and then look at the items using the filter (Ammo, Generators, Weapons, etc) and see if the equipment shows there. If so then it is not LOST just not able to be seen as it is assigned to the ships that were removed from your Hangar, an easy fix for the team to implement, you may even look at all of the ships (individually) to see if any of them have the equipment you think you have lost.

    Hello,

    Sometimes the items appear to be missing when your account goes inactive because when the account is in an inactive state for awhile it faces a slow delete process. Sometimes this means that when the pilot logs back in, their items are no where to be found because the account comes out of the inactive state but the items not so much. There is hope tho when this is the cause because generally support have a chance that they may be able to recover the items with the system, however it won't work for items sold or things like that.

    If you wrote support be patient, I know it's a wait but if your items are just hanging out in inactive-limbo there may be some hope you'll have them back soon :)

  5. Still forgot how to upload pictures but I did manage to get all my items back :) Thanks to support! <3

    I hope I see you all out in space, ;) hopefully not as enemies.... Oh and yes this thread has answered my questions and may be closed.
