  1. Hi, I've not got anywhere trying to find what defines this offense. If maybe someone could shed some light on the number of times you may destroy another players ship before you have crossed the line ?
I have several times ran into a situation where a player would return over and over and attack again only to pop again. I have spent a lot of time on my account and would rather avoid a potential problem.

    Thanks

  2. There is NO definite answer to this issue. It is suggested if you see you are killing the same player over and over you change maps or take a break from the game for a while. I have seen recently a player complaining because he was being killed while trying to do map specific quests and being popped all the time, they were banned as he "allowed" his ship to be used for "pushing" when they really were not allowing it just trying to complete his missions in that map. You do get a notice that you are "obviously attacking a weaker player" if you approach the limits of the FREE killing before becoming prone for "pushing detection".

  3. I am aware of that warning, but I don't always see it the first time if fighting. As an example of the situation(s) I am talking about I had two players that actively came back as a pair until I went and did a gate. I stopped shooting when I noticed the warning, but was it the first warning or the second, or third ?? I do not know as the notifications on screen are often 60 seconds or more behind what is happening onscreen. I have been told and read several times that if I am still getting ep and honor from the kill that I am not yet in danger. If this is the case I am not worried , I'll find another map.
Do you mean to say I should take a break from playing because someone attacks me too much? I don't buy Premium and keep boosters to log out every time someone wants to attack me more than a few times , I'd not get to play much that way. I should not have to worry so much, if they shoot you first then you should be able to grind them into space dust . ;)

  4. Your right, you should not have to worry about this problem when you are not the aggressor. That said, pushing is a grey area where both the aggressor and the agressee, lol could not help myself, end up paying the cost. As HMHY stated, its best to move around when you start seeing the notice. The bad thing is this is bound to come up during events and CBS attack/defense.

    Hello -Lockraven-,

Thank you both for assisting the user with their concern. The game is PVP based and we do expect players to fairly kill other players, however, there are mechanics in place in order to prevent abuse of the PVP aspect, i.e You, as the player are destroyed, would have a choice on re-spawn points allowing you to engage in battle again, repair or return to base and repair / regroup. The system also has a diminishing returns mechanism in place to discourage constant killing of the same opponents.

Being destroyed/or destroying someone every day does not indicate pushing kills. However, if the kills were in a considerable amount and maybe even every day, then it may be considered Pushing. The Destroyed or destroyer are both responsible for their participation in this meaning if you're complying to allow someone to destroy you dozens of times you are just as crafty in the pushing activity and would be held accountable as well.

When i'm stuck in this situation or stuck sitting on a port due to the amount of enemy in the maps I tend to log off for a few minutes and re-log in later. Take a small break, go outside. Remember this game is supposed to be fun, don't let others ruin that experience for you.

    Closing as answered.
