Do you remember the "pop you till you are a P'Nut" attitude? This was what you had to look forward to if you went into the maps without Uridium to repair your ship and were flying a Leonov or higher ship and were short the credits to buy something better. But now that they put repair credits in Bonus Boxes and of course Gate Spins you don't have to worry about the popping, of course Premium giving FREE repairs saves you from the possibility also. I never worried about being popped I just wanted to do my quests and be left alone but seems every time I had something almost dead I was attacked and lost all my efforts to kill it.

500 uri a repair or back to an egg, the old school days were you had to work to prom your lasers no sky lab and if you had 3 rings you were a god and whites were never used on NPC's because they were so hard to get.

 

A good number of players still have that attitude, lol. I didn't really get popped during my first couple premium weeks so didn't know what to expect once it ran out. Now a pop here, a pop there... It really cracks me up, but since I am running the Nostro, its not a uri issue. I have gotten the repair chip, and as I pop will be syncing my drones. Just hate the staggered setup they have now. I have the same mentality in the end, just want to do my missions but right now I am credit farming. I am not really strong enough to do my bonus mission for my level so will just concentrate on building up what I have. I go through the same deal of "almost there" but since everyone has to worry about that, its not that big of a deal.

 

That is further back than I remember, but yeah 3 rings then the candle for the B'day gate and don't remember what happened after completing the Delta gate (I still have not done it or most of the new ones) but with NOT buying the Extra Energy/Spins it takes forever to build them.

NO, the attitude now is pop you till you lose your drones as everyone has a stockpile of repair credits and you often forget to check the damage to them when you log in and as such tend to lose them not thinking about them when you repair your ship (I have 2 I need to upgrade again) because of friendly killers.

 

I like to keep my drones at the same level, so will repair them all at the same time. Its easier to remember I think, at least for me. But your right, people get all wrapped up in the fact that they are fighting, or getting popped, lol. They forget they better go check that drone damage. I have lost two before, my drone repair cpu was not equipped on one of my configs for some reason.

The old delta you got a trianlge with the rings earned for alpha,beta and gamma inside the triangle. The new delta is 3 rings along the bottom and 1 on top in the middle like an inverted T.
