[SC] Why Sell Me Expensive Booty Keys I Can't Use?

Like every thing with darkorbit, they make sure to let you know that YOU as a customer are not THAT important. There is no excuse to put a special "package" like blue booty keys and then not having the special event work, other than disrespecting the customer.

There are only two conceivable explanations why this event is currently not working:

1. They care so little for the customer, they are willing to try all of their marketing schemes on you (let's create impatience so more people buy our expensive virtual items) even if it means that by the time they implement the event there will only be 1-2 hours left to cash in your keys.

2. They care so little for the customer, they are willing to sell you something upfront without first making sure they can implement the event in game with no bugs/problems on time.

In either of these cases, it is a blatant disrespect to everyone that supports this game to not only sell us something upfront that can only be used for a limited time (like 24 hours) and then not have the event ready for the players.

I'm going to be honest, I play darkorbit when I can because YOUR servers cannot even handle everyone of their paying customers to play at the same time. And because of this fact since the Darkorbit team keeps taking forever to put the red/blue booty key event on game I have no idea if I will even be able to use these items because (again) maybe by the time you finally implement the event, YOUR servers won't allow me and many other players to even connect to the game and play.

 

they are apparently going to activate the boxes tomorrow as today is the triple LF4 chance day

 

well yesterday (sat) i brought 20 blue keys and didnt see a blue box at all, they wernt cheap and now ive missed the triple chance,can i get a refund ?

 

Helix LF-4 Day is over, but still no Red or Blue booty.

Don't know what you are trying to say... But the Ultra Blue is 9 times the chances of getting a LF-4.

I have purchased 10 blue and 20 red booty keys , if not a refund then I would atleast like to know when it will be on or what they will plan to do?

 

had a look at the other language forums, the mods their said they have no info on it and to watch the home page for updates, why don't they keep their mod team updated?

 

What the hell! They took our money and this what we get! A another screw up?!

 

^ It is indeed a screw up and I wouldn't doubt they purposely misled me and a lot of players into buying useless blue/red booty keys on LF4 day even when the event was not going to take place that day.

A clever marketing plot, but after this screw up I not doing any more purchases of this sort lol. I don't like getting scammed/tricked.

 

M0NKEY_D_LUFFY!, I am sorry that you are disappointed in the events so far. As for the Blue/Red key item, it was likely a sale for people to stock up at a discount so when they do come out you will be prepared.

Hey Raijin, thank you at least for passing down the official response. I do have further questions: since red/blue booty keys where misleadingly sold the day of LF4 day, how could I get a refund? My biggest problem is that I was sold something that not only I CANT use, but there is no telling WHEN I will be able to use them. And considering blue/red chests are usually a limited event there is no telling if the very same day Darkorbit decides to implement the event I will be offline and missing the only chance in the year to use these keys.

 

the official announcement said "Please rest assured you will have the opportunity to use them very shortly (est Tuesday-Wednesday)." sooo will be looking forward to those days
