[TEI] I-Gygerthrall spawn chance not always 50%

So far these are my kill statistics:

-=[ I-Egg ]=- 433
-=[ I-Gygerthrall ]=- 41

At around 300 normally killed I-Eggs and 0 I-Gygerthrall spawns, I looked at the forums and other people had finally figured it out: It seemed you had to 1-shot them. I tried 1-shotting them and it worked, I-Gygerthralls started to spawn. (No 1-shots -> ~0% Chance)

After that I 1-shotted around 130 I-eggs and ~40 I-Gygerthralls spawned. Not exactly 50%, but I believe that is due to 20% laser miss chance and the fact that my original setup didn't always hit over 12k. Thus I believe that with 1-shots the spawn chance really is 50%.

Is this intended behavior?
If not, please fix it.
If yes, please at least specify in the FAQ, that you have to 1-shot the eggs to get the gygerthrall to spawn.

Thank you both for noticing this. Have shot a few I-Egg's during the event and have not noticed this until you have brought it up. Did a few egg shooting and it does appear to be that way. We don't know if it's intentional, but believe it's just part of the game mechanics. Perhaps the high damage game mechanics on the Hitac reward has influenced the I-Egg's to act in the same way

 

Deter please don't act like this have been meant to be like this. It's bug and should be fixed, as i for example as nonfe player can't oneshot egg!
