are any of the boosters available in extars or in booster good for oil ? or only event points?

Yes there are currently no boosters to increase the chance or the amount of oil you can get, but by the looks of the Unofficial Darkorbit Revealed thread* there might be for next months event(at least it is currently planned to happen next month**). Keep in mind that the information in that thread is not official and there is no guarantee that stuff will be exactly same as described in that thread or even be implemented into the game.

ok so how are we suppose to get the new ships? wait until next event next month or 2 months ?

 

This current event was intended to be hard to get the ships but yes next months event it will be easier to get the ships*, by sounds of it it should/might be much easier. The latest update that I know of on when it is currently planned to start is around mid April, according to what the community manager OP32 said on Discord.


*Also if I am remembering right the event will add a permanent way to be able to get the ships(or currently is/was planned to), as in after the event has ended you can still get the ships. Someone may need to verify me on that, said permanent way or one of the ways sounds like the group gate that will come with the event though.

That's if the ships are even available it's been 5 days from start of the event nobody even knows what they need to get the ships, probably sounds more like the ships will be available in the next event that's why they will be easier to get LOL. Enjoy atleast maybe we get some minerals for the new lf4's

I keep seeing that post but i know someone that was playing first day the new ships were available and they said it was only 350 oils needed to buy them. Also 450 oils is insane they said the ships would be hard to get not impossible i have been grinding hitac and eggs for 4 days now and don't even have 50 oils yet. So it should have read ships won't be available during this event cause there is no way anyone could get 450 before event ends.

 

450 is impossible i agree with you 150% 350is also close to imposible
am doing the same for 5 6 hours per day and i have now 61 oils.

 

I got 75. A bit better than you. But 450 is impossible for me.
But as developers said. This event is not to get a ship. Unless you play 24/7 lol.

The next event is for getting a ship. So do not worry. Get as much as you can now.
And in couple weeks time. You will need less to get.

Shame tho they have changed few things on the ships themselves. So I do not even want them.

I can see then in hangar. And I do like Cyborg the most for pure damage. But there is one thing that I do not see on there.
It was said that Cyborg will have 16 laser slots and 10% damage boost (passive).
But somehow I do not see that Passive damage written there. Hope they did not take that off. As then it will be very close with surgeon. As surgeon has 1 less laser slot. But 6% bonus damage. Works out even better than cyborg. But the ability helps to cyborg.

So they will be very closely matched if that 10% bonus damage is not there.

i agree with you. and just for the record the boosters dont help with oil only with event points.i tried both booters and from the extras and from the booster menu.

 

I know m8. They did clarify that on Discord someday. And there is a leak somewhere that I-Oil will have boosters on next event.

The way I see it. I do not need those ships 2 of them are way too slow. I got citadel for that.
And Cyborg I do want. But just if it has 10% passive damage boost. Otherwise I am better off doing my gates in Surgeon.

 

again you have my agreement now if the hammerclaw wasent nefred from 15 15 to 12 14 and speed tha would be good as well but like this only the cyborg is worh getting if it has the 10% dmg.if not surgeon and sovereing. and if indeed they have boosters for oil next event why are we even bothering with this one ? for 1lf4 ? and not even upgraded one ?

 

I agree with you too.
I am not trying to get LF4.
I will try get the Kyhalon and Tetrathrin. Now on 5020 points so 980 to 15 Kyhalon. And hopefully I can get to next objective afterwards for more Kyhalon and Tetrathrin.

That is all I want.
Oh and in the meantime killing I-Eggs for Gigathrols for Scrap, Prismatium and Plasmide. And some Log Disks.
All those things are very helpful in producing EMPs and Next obsidian Keys when they come out mid April.

So just stacking what I can now. To have all of that for later
