[TEI] quests

Solid Eye: I also am NOT getting the 5% nor did the first mission to collect 100 influence points appear on May 31st even though this event was NOT supposed to start until TODAY, June 1st as mentioned in the FAQ. I have a clan member who told me his event missions started yesterday, MAY 31. I am on my Vanquisher design and am wondering if the 5% is not showing because of location-in the server-Usa West- or if the problem is somewhere else. I appreciate your attention to this matter and enjoy Dark Orbit.

The event was in full swing June 1st, it would stand to reason if the quests didn't appear the day before even if the event did open up a bit early.

In any case, it may be helpful if you can post how much influence you are getting for a given task.

i got 5 points each for doing some missions, but my friend on Dark Orbit stated that his first missions appeared on May 31st--missions I did NOT receive on May 31st nor did I receive the mission he described that he did May 31st to collect 100 Influence points which he got by doing his Lambda gate twice. I would like to be able to get the Achievement for doing all of the Battle for Influence missions but as I did not know the event actually started May 31st I will not be able to"complete" all the event missions because the event began a day before it was posted to begin. Are there no more points? Do we only receive 5 points for completing a mission, even on our Vanquisher ship which is supposed to offer us more points? Am i misinformed? If we get no more points for using the Vanquisher I'll return to my Surgeon which is faster.

 

chasenmytail, we can't do anything about the quests and that's something entirely out of our (or supports') hands. The FAQ states that the quests will repeat throughout the event, so you should have another chance at it if the quest recycles.

Also, as of earlier today missions no longer given influence points & we have been advised points gained from missions are to be removed, same as points gained from NPCs. You can still complete the quests, just won't receive influence for the quests themselves anymore.

That said, I would really appreciate if you did not hijack threads for a separate issue or inquiry than the OPs. With that in mind I have moved these posts out to their own thread.

Pay attention to server times. A majority of the time, the event will boot up after the server resets for the new day. Otherwise, it will start at 00:00 SERVER TIME. Not your local time, or on your computer; the time it shows on the home page.

 

on 50 points you should of gotten 52 on 5 points you dont get nothing couse is 0.2 and its rounded down.
