    The new event Event Runtime – Local Server Time – 1000 14 June – 2359 15 July

    Can D.O. please add a block on same company hits and kills during this event.. otherwise it will be another MCC controlled event like all previous ones.:rolleyes:
    By simply blocking same company hits/kills it takes most of the control away from MCC's giving the rest of us a fighting chance and be able to play the game as the rules state.

    If nothing is done then only MCC's will get all points / rewards like the previous events.:mad:

  4. Next words will be hard to swallow. Maybe his topic will be better to put in some thing place but since here we speak about MCC I gonna do it here couse I see people still don't understand why and how MCC happen and why DO don't doing nothing about and why DO DON'T NEED TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT MCC.

    When darkorbit was released in 2006 they where never think that MCC will happen that something that happen how game evolved.
    Game was created not with 2 companys but with 3 instead to have more dinamic in game what is good and work every time on new server, everybody got nothing, they are separeted on 3 companys and if MCC from other server start to play game they will start to play all on same company or will have one on other to prevent "game errors".

    Most common thing you can consider game error is reward sharing calculation. When ufe and noob shoot cubikon, noob will get 40% of reward even his ship damaged 10% of cubikon while UFE did 90% so both of them kill it. Its unfair to UFE and becouse of that clans most of time have friend on other company who come kill this little guys so his friend can get DESERVED reward. When tell him go down on low maps you will get more uridium with shooting simon and mordon in one hour than with dying 20 times in x-6 in hour he tell you "you can't tell me what to do, I will do what I want" than few mins later on forum or discord somebody write "do something about MCC I can't play".
    P.S. nobody like leachers.

    Beside "prevent leachers" reason why there is MCC is because as you start to play game first you start to speak with your company than you start to speak with your enemy and after few lines with enemy you say hey this guys is cool we should be friends. Next days you come on his map you don't shoot at him, he come on your map he don't shoot at you, after a while you guys are in same clan. In past one of you will change company because honor was hard to get and only real reason to have honor was so you can sell ORE on max price beside that honor was not playing any role in game becaue dmg was low, there wasn't PET, moth formation and was only alpha beta gamma and delta. I still remember doing alpha gate 4 hours with my FE what back than was UFE without kamikaze and normal formation. You could get more rank points with shoot ships or aliens than with doing gates when you look on RP/hour so 50% honor reduction wasn't big deal for change company and join to play with your friends.
    This happen with one guy after lets say month, in a year same happen with 50 other, in 5 years of server that happen with 500 other or even more. Basic tought people are stoped to change company because honor reduction this days.

    "Leaving clan during war", there where so many people leaving clan becouse of war and you can doing about it, he is your company you have war because of him but you can't shoot it because you will have minus honor. So you call your clan friend from other company to come start shoot at him. You still have "war" with this guy even he is not anymore in clan.

    There is much more things to come up to why MCC happen but this are kinda main reasons.

    Company and clan have bad interaction. On new server you don't really see effect of clan, you see just effect of company so you can 2 sides vs 1 all time depending where you fight you have different "ally". I still remember time when I start to play, at 19:00 comes MMO in 3-6 and bully us till 21:00 than from 21 to 23 comes EIC and keep to shoot us. There was no jump cpu to enemy map at that time and every time you die, you repair on base, there was no spot or portal reapir, so soon you are stack in 3-8 and just can't do nothing about it, you can call it a day. This was hurt much more than MCC trust me.

    How server evolve and people start to be friends company concept slowly dissapear than happen new thing, I see it as natural process. You have 2 war sides, on each side you have several clans who fight each other, in that war to my enemy help "neutral" and I help "neutral" to my enemy. So there is again 3 company but not as company its more like "sides":
    War A side
    War B side
    Neutral
    People who are crying about MCC is this neutral side which MCC see as "enemy company" like MMO if you are VRU.

    To summer it;
    company on new server have effect which losing slowly as server getting older, while at same time clan which basicly have no effect on new server have more and more effect on game. Thats natural process, all you need to do it accept and adapt to it, there is no way around. To prevent MCC Darkorbit must change so many things, starting with deleting clan so company can have effect on old server, prevent leaching by noobs, remove honor reduction for change company etc. Down side to it is that you can't force your company to help you in "war", friendship means nothing what is just bad.

    Best thing we can do is accept reality that MCC is something natural and there is no reason to change it, what DO need to do is make future events according to that and not give change to play event unless you are part of clan. Its easy to join most of TOP clans all you need to do it be nice mostly, talk and connect to them. If you first whisper is can I join clan I will ignore it most of time or send you to clan member who is send you to other and he will send you to another ... but if you come up as something like how was your day, hey man i hear great joke today, or i saw great meme do you wanna see it, its so funny, YES I WILL BE MORE OPEN TO ACCEPT YOU IN TOP5 CLAN. Top clans dont need more firepower most of time, what we need is chearleader on ts that will make our day even he is noob and die on map 200 times per day, I will still like him because he make me feel better.

    I can keep to write about it even more but this is are some basics people should understand about MCC.

  5. @»ØPŦ‡MU§_K‡ŁŁ_§[23]« the biggest reason the MCC have taken over the servers is the populations on them have dwindled and these are usually the most active players in the maps and to aid in completing the PvP quests that these players have open they use their same company clansmen to point out targets to lock and then assist with the kill whether needed or not. We had MCC's try to attack the noobs when I first started but we had enough people in COMPANY CHAT we could get enough help to send these invaders back to their X-1 map and we could continue doing our quests. Now, IF there is anyone in Company Chat they are too weak to help or an MCC Spy looking for fodder for their "friends".

  6. Basicly what you saying is that MCC isn't problem, problem is not enough people on company, what this basicly means all you need to do is be part of one clan.
    I know that some people don't like idea of war between 2 big alliances and being part of it, what is case in most of servers, but you can look on them as your "primary company" while vru/eic/mmo is secoundary company what clan used to be on new server. Concept is basicly the same how thing will go since that point, enemy come you call for help your clan.
    I don't like word MCC it sound bad, I more like to call it big alliance what MCC basicly is.
     
  7. Well the big difference between the 2 is that if they were ALLIED companies you would see the friendly and could WAR that clan if they chose to attack you. Unless the system has been changed you can not WAR an enemy Clan as they are already RED but you collect negative honor for killing a same company player in that clan but they can assist in your death and not get any punishment for it. Again the MCC has been here since 2010 when I first started playing, they were kept in check because the best of the loyal company players would be as strong as them and would pop them out of the maps.
     
  8. Join a strong clan. Make it easier on yourself. Find a good group of people who are active and it all works out.
