[TI] 3 days of lag, unable to play

    Server: usa 2 east coast.

    For the past few days I have been unable to play this game from early morning hours until evening hours. I have extreme lag, log in issues and being killed by things I don't see, or killed due to the lag. I have cleared cookies, history and so on, still the same. I have great internet connection and a new computer more than capable of handling this game. This is the only site that I experience problems on. I don't know if anybody else is experiencing this issue as well. I apologize if this is in the wrong section.

    sorry to here you are having a possible issue with Lag/Latency. I am sure you may have heard this before but would you mind clearing your cache and flash player. You will be able to find some further information concerning on how to do this by clicking on the short cuts with in my signature.

    When you have done this would you mind letting us know how you got on.

    I've done what you said. I have been able to play for the last 2 hours with no trouble. Which is what has been going on the past few days; unable to play from morning until around 5 pm my time. As of right now the game is running smooth. Will update tomorrow if I am unable to play again during the daytime hours. And thanks for replying BrightSpark!

  5. Again in Usa3 this horrible lag and the game unplayable every morning till the night u can play, whats that?:mad::mad::(
     
  6. hello there, sorry i have not got back to you before now.

    sorry to hear that you are still having an issue, one other thing to consider is the actual browser you are using, when you say lag/latency it could be a graphic type overload issue with your computer, so reduce the level of detail in game to a minimum, then adjust the level of detail of graphics to see what happens. The other option I was going to say , would be to try and rotate your browser. use one the first day use a different browser the next. See if that helps.

    Check to see if you are not routing to the eu servers, you should be login in thru the local server so that would probably be ending .com

  7. Since this is something that seems to be over time, I have a few questions for the op from my experience.

    1. Is anyone else doing anything internet affected during the day where you live? Of course I am assuming anyone else lives with you.
    2. Are you doing anything else while you play, streaming music, videos, movies? My son streams while I play and I used to listen to steaming music. I had to stop with the music, sucks but you sacrifices based on keeping peace in the house.
    3. A few months ago, like 8 lol, I had my ISP come out and check my connections all around my house and we found that all 10 of them were loose. Something to check.
    I only have lag now during events and trust me, I try not to get involved because who needs it. Hytac event means I stay in uppers and pirate maps. Better place anyways. Anyways, this is stuff I thought about when reading your issue. I assume this is the only time you play... o_O
     
  8. Still can't play this game between 11:30am and 5:30pm est. No one uses my laptop but me, only my hubby and I in the house and he has his own pc. Ive tried firefix, waterfox, Internetexplorer with no positive results. After 5:30pm I get on and everything works just fine. There's a pattern here and it's not just me it's affecting. Check the ships of the ones who are in the game during these hours, there's a pattern here.

    Thank you very much for assisting these players with their issue.

    As I can see that PSKSUNDANCE has asked some very good questions. These could all be causes of the issue... If you have looked at these and are still experiencing this issue, could you please provide me with the following information:

    1. What type of Internet service do you have? Cable / DSL / WiFi

    2. Do you have a wireless router?
    If yes, Have you verified that you have a password secure access on your Router. If it is not password protected... Everyone in your neighborhood could be using your WiFi like a public access point.

    3. Are you playing a server that is in the country of your residence?
    Distance from the actual server could be causing the issue you are experiencing.

    4. Have you checked to see what is running in the background on your computer. Example... if your have a printer connected - the printer spoiler will be running. You just don't realize it.

    I hope some of this is helpful to resolve the issue.

  10. Dear Astraea, I have been having the same problems as the above players. Game starts and stops. Lagging badly. Connection lost. I have Cable connection (really fast) I have a new wifi ala wireless router, and I even had my cable company out to see if connection was loose. I have lost two lives in Beta. I am in the last two waves. I do not want to lose this gate now. I did everything you told the other guys to do. Cleaned everything out. Hope maybe you guys can do something? I figured maybe you were working on the server?? Thanks for your time. Galaxy Princess

  13. I am still having connection problems no one else in my home is having them on their tablets or desktop. I have done everything you told me to do. I even had the cable company check my line. I bought a new router too. I am not the only one experiencing this problem.

  14. It's been lagging for me a lot longer then 3 days, also can see in videos of other Global servers they have exactly the same problems as me.
