  1. Hello, I have a question about ping of Darkorbit servers. I live in Czech Republic and i have an average of 35ms ping on czech servers. On ga1 I have 30ms (even smaller lol) and on asia1 I've measured around 275. How come that I have such good ping in usa server but not asian? Does asia1 have problems?

  2. Asia is in test stage and should not be bothered with as of yet. o_O As you can see, it is not always available, much like the test server.

You are probably pinging the wrong thing for GA1. It appears to be hosted in a mix of EU / NA stuff, like the backpage (e.g if you are pinging to int2.darkorbit.bigpoint.com) seems to be EU but the actual map hosting servers are in California.

The whole of asia1 looks to be hosted in Hong Kong, so overall your ping is going to be worse to there and it is to GA1 which appears to be a hybrid of host locations - still primarily NA though.

As PSK~SUNDANCE touched on though, the server isn't finished yet. DO have stated they will reset everything on it and all progress made will be lost (no idea why it hasn't happened already and the server closed until its finished though ...) so there's no point playing it.

  4. Thanks for your answers. I thought that the server'd already been wiped since they announced it like a month ago. Looks like I'm not gonna play there anyway with this kind of ping though.
