[TI] Backpage

Hi fellow DOs, for some reason the backpage keeps logging off and I have to re log whilst playing the game. This makes no se...?(sense) The game should log me off in the playable screen if that happens.

 

Yes you not only experiencing that it also happened to me . I notice if you idle your ship and log-out for quite some time , say 3-5 minutes without playing it log-outs itself. I think it is a security feature of the Dark-orbit. Cm please do confirm.

 

The in-client has been doing it to me forever, even though others do not seem to have it done to them. The back page has just recently started logging me out while I am in the Forums. I am not able to stay in the client long enough before I have to log out to see if the back page logs me out while in the game, but I would assume it would do it also at that point.

 

Change your password.
Chances are, your account is being logged into from another location. I know, because I opened my account from another computer while logged onto this one, and it logged me off when I navigated to a different page.

For your client logging out solution, have it open as a tab of its own (usually, you can click and drag the tab out to make it its own page). The way browsers work, it'll leave you logged in for a solid amount of time (3~5 mins). That's if your client was logging you out anywhere from 10 to 30 seconds you switch to a different tab.

 

Thanks for replies I only noticed this when I was doing the 1 hour quest (s) - you know what I mean and I go to backpage after I was done and was logged off This is the fourth time I noticed it and thought it was an anomaly, but it happens too frequently now. Any other experience this before I send to ........

happened to me for the first time about 15 mins ago, after playing for 2 hours which in itself was odd as usually I need to relog every 30 mins, USA East

 

Select the forum topic that best suits the issue, click on the topic, top right corner see "Post New Thread" this will navigate you to create your headline and then the issue you want to discuss. Hope this helps.

Password change does not make a difference as I get logged out of back page even after having changed it.

Also have done the separate tab and still get the log out much more frequently than other players I have been grouped up with. Often happens when trying to converse with other players instead of playing the game.

The disconnect could be a few things,

1. Another player logging in to the account.
2. Internet Lag

2.. Internet lag
3. it could be a server issue

Thus we recommend:

1. Possibly consider changing your password.
2. Clear browser flash and cache - or try a different browser
3. take a deep breath and have patience.

Still happens, but that is the way it is setup. Lack of activity similar to on the client screen you don't move - instant request to new connection or log off, but not for the backpage. Kinda hard to be on two screens at once.

Anyone else have this problem to put forward to post or the mod can close - Thanks.

 

The in game client always does it to me if im on the backpage for more than 30 seconds, but ive never had that happen to me on the backpage
