  1. My chat has broke and I am the only one having this problem, when I log in the chat wont show up and it says;

    {chat.dochat.chat.authenticationFailed}
    The connection to the server was lost.

    I messaged support over a week ago, I got 1 reply 6 days ago and I replied to that and I havnt heard from them since. Any ideas on what to do, this game is really dull without chat?

  4. I've recently been away from the game for a while, but when I came back at the start of last week the chat was fine, the weekend just past, however, it seemed to just roll over and die and I've been unable to connect. Have they not addressed the issue on here? :p
     
  5. Yeah for you does it say "{chat.dochat.chat.authenticationFailed} The connection to the server was lost." too?
     
  6. You need to clear your Browser History, Flash and Java Caches, reset your Modem/Router (turn off for 45-60 seconds), restart your computer. IF this did not resolve the issue then send a ticket to support with User ID, Ship Name, Server(s) effected, and what you have tried to correct the issue. Chat is not controlled by D O but is run by BigPoint and requires a little more time to correct the issue, not everyone is seeing the issue but those who are are very frustrated by the length of time they have had to fight with it.
     
  7. Yeah, exactly that. My brother and I have had it over the weekend, it's getting really annoying

    Cheers for that, do you know where I can precisely file tickets for support? I'm going to try clearing my cache and all of that now and see what comes of it in the meantime
