    Hello LCM.,

    There are a few things to try and see if they help. First of all, try using a different browser and see if the problem goes away or changes. I'd recommend clearing your various caches if you have not already done so as well as rebooting your internet router/modem.

    Let us know if you are still having the issue with chat after trying these things.

  5. Chat has been up and down so many times lately I have just given up on being able to talk to anyone in the game. Computer and browser does not seem to make a difference it is on the server side of the connection. It is just another one of those items in D O that needs attention and is on the back burner so they can add more updates and even more bugs to the game.

  7. Thank you KilerStreak for pointing this out but this is a NEW problem that has not been addressed in that post. There is no error given just that we have lost connection to the server. This is something that just started this week and is not addressed in the thread as the last update was done on 1/8/16 (Aug 1 for us Americans) and does not mention that they have reported this current issue to anyone.

    Thank you all for assisting this player with their issue.

    I have investigated the matter and found that many players are experiencing an increased amount of latency within the game. This may or may not be what is causing the chat issue. We were unable to reproduce this issue at this time.

    I will look into this matter further.

    It, doesn't even seem like darkorbit is trying to fix the problem because they are still working on upgrading the game instead of fixing it. This is supposed to be a multiplayer game where you connect with friends and fight rivals. How are you supposed to communicate on global when the chat isn't working? Its frustrating that it has been weeks and the issue is still unresolved.

    The issue with the chat system are still being investigated.

    6ANOSindarkLEGENDA- If you would post me the following information I will be happy to look and see if there is an issue directly related to your account.

    Ship Name
    Server
    User ID
    IP address.

    As for Dark Orbit not caring to fix the issue, that is not the case. The development team is made up of several areas working to keep the game running. Those people working on updates and new ideas are not the same people working to repair bugs and glitches. Please know that all issues and to be tested and many people are working very hard to offer all players a fun gaming experience.

  12. ASTRAEA, I am getting the same issue on all of my accounts. It is not connecting when I first log in to the game and I am now starting to see the error #2048 while I do my evening Transfer from SkyLab. I have not had chat all week and have actually got the information in my signature except the IP Address which support corrected for me about a month ago but is [REMOVED] Maybe we can get it fixed again.

  13. (for anyone to respond too) I too' probably like many others, have been unable to connect to chat due to...Welcome to Systems INTEX The connection to the server was lost. I checked the normal items/ things on the computer and no success, but if I travel 100 mile south of me, and connect on another person's computer to same account...I have chat. Now with that server lost message, is there anything I should be checking on the computer that doesn't allow me too chat...awhile ago there was some instruction on how to improve or fix chat issues (probably not related) with adobe/ something?!? but I can't seem to find that fix anywhere?...if it even matters'

    Hello USSCoralSeaCV4,

    As of this Moment US and GB chats seem to load. For those who are still experiencing this issue we ask if you could please clear your Cache/Flash or try using a different browser if this issue still persists.

    If you have the Authorization Failed message then you will need to contact Support with your IP Address as you describe there is no problem when you log into chat on a different Computer/IP etc. For future reference regarding Chat loss please refer to the Current US-server chats-down again thread for further updates on this issue.

    Do you the Original Poster have any further questions/concerns? Please keep us updated.
