[TI] Expo16 V_Lightning Size

Hey everyone,

I recently noticed that the Expo16 V_Lightning design makes the ship bigger than the normal V_Lightning design; bigger than a bastion Goliath matter in fact. I thought the Expo16 design was merely cosmetic and only changed the color . . .

Larger ship --> larger lock radius --> higher probability of a player locking me--> higher probability I will be destroyed.

Is this a bug? Was the Expo16 design purposely made to make the Lightning appear bigger? Do you think the developers could fix this?

You may not know the answers to those question, so maybe answer this--the most important question: do you think support will refund me for the Expo16 design even if I cannot find the log in my uridium balance page?

 

HAHA, asking players and mods if support will give you a refund I think the only ones that could answer that would be support. Although your saying you want a refund before you even know if there is a problem with that design yet. I don't really think any ship in the game has a larger locking radius also how does that make it a higher probability you will be destroyed? Sounds to me like you should have spend that money on uri for upgrades to your ship before spending money on a ship design that doesn't do anything different than the base design of that ship.

Have forwarded this issue up to the tech team for investigation. It may just be a graphic glitch as the ships appear to be the same in 3D.

No, Support will not refund you for the design.

 

.†ι¢є_gяιмσιяє†. - Ships do differ in their radius, and not every person is good at clicking on lagging pixels on a small screen in-front of them. On a side note--my drones and gear are already lvl 16, plus its my uridium anyway so I can spend it however I want

We have heard back from the development tech team. While it does seem to have a small difference, the Expo design has the same click radius as the lightning vengeance ship.
