[TI] gb2 lasers bugged

  1. on gb2 since the restart today lasers are bugged , for every 5-6 shots of x4 used it fires a round of x1 also i heard when you use x3 it uses sab, so can u please fix this bug and also make rsb give you 1 million uri lol

    Same issue on all servers...They (at last) fixed speed and formation bug and gave us new bug ... cant wait for next update of event ..it will full of new issues.
    At the same time I would like to request all player to keep clam. Dont spam support with new tickets.They are aware of issue. I just hope they can fix them soon*praying*
     
  5. Another bug where if you warp ships you deal reduced damage. Relog fixes this.

  7. I have been doing alpha, beta and gamma gates this weekend and not only have I, like everyone else have noticed the visual lazer glitch. I have also noticed that when I shoot the NPCs even if I don't miss their HP or shields don't go down as quick. I use x4 ammo and it is taking longer to pop said NPCs than it did before this visual lazer glitch.

    My lazers do miss and there for no damage is done, but not all hits are causing damage. Please could someone look into it and also has anyone else noticed this?
     
  8. Definitely...and not a "visual glitch", either. Problem I have is I'm shooting x4 with Sep. When the laser switches to x3 - or whatever the NOT x4 sound is - it's taking longer to kill (anything, players or NPCs), therefore MORE rocks (Sep) and the ammo is ALL counted toward x4. I've watched my ammo counts and whatever the selected ammo is, that's the count that is subtracted. This also happens on ALL lasers - SAB, RSB included.


    So whoever's shooting lasers this weekend - and this won't be fixed by the end of Kronos Event today, guaranteed - is getting hosed for rocks (Sep , Prom, etc.) on your lasers as well as X4, SAB, RSB etc. This is a major bummer because, Sep, and to a lesser degree, Prom are hard enough to try to stockpile and it's being wasted because of this. Add to that if you're buying URI to buy x4, SAB, RSB, etc. that's actual $$ out of player pockets.


    Once they fix this "visual glitch" there should be some compensation...again.

    Happened while in gates lasers would switch back and forth from Sab to X2 during fights which caused a lot of confusion, it's not visual because they would take longer for shield leech to drain shields because of it. DO really should test their updates changes, and other
    things they do so that it doesn't cause stuff like this to happen. I know that they have to have a test bed somewhere to test this stuff
    before implementing it!
     
  10. I wouldn't be surprised if this lazer glitch has something to do with tomorrows event and the new lazers they are bringing out. Looking forward to see what else gets screwed up when they launch it, hopefully its something in our favour. :p:D

  11. Also shows on GA2. A visual but also an Audio glitch.


    Variation in damage can be from different sources. One, maybe the lasers are really being switched between. Two, Lasers are using a random number generator to determine which, if any, lasers hit during that salvo. Sometimes all lasers hit, sometimes not. Would really need the targeting computer chip active to see. Three, Lag has been known to skew damage numbers shown to perceived hits.

  12. Same on GE2,they will fix bug soon like all other.WITH THIS TEMPO MAYBE IN 4 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Do really needs to do something about this laser glitch I just lost a battle, because my lasers kept switching bwtn X4, Sab-2, and X2, this is not a visual glitch u can see by the amount of damage ur lasers are doing wich laser is be used and I'm not changing them!!!!!!!
     
  14. Was hoping I'd see a fix for this in this morning's update. You'd think after all these years and through all the updates I'd know better. :rolleyes:

    I agree, I'm also losing battles or at least not getting kills because of this waste of ammo. DO, while this is happening, we're not only getting short changed by the continual ammo switching but when it does switch to some wimpy ammo like X2, we're still getting the SELECTED ammo - X4, SAB, RSB - decremented, and that's just not right.

    This needs to be a priority fix instead of this silly "Saimon Rebellion".

    While we're at it, WTH are the developers thinking. Each Scatter Laser III needs 20 Schism Crystals yet the 3 gates (Delta, Kuiper, Kronos) that award them give so few? Delta only awards 6...so you need to do 4 Deltas to build one laser. Way to include the < UFE players that can't afford to keep building gate after gate. Hell I'm UFE and I'm not planning to bother with these "upgrades".

    FIX THE DAMN LASERS instead of finding more ways to [REMOVED] people's wallets.

    You geniuses broke them (of course) going into a weekend with not only GG doublers but a Kronos event. Smooth.
