[TI] GE1 Lag - unplayable

Hello,

Whats up with Global Europe 1 server ... late at night at about 9 pm onwards the game is unplayable. Game screen freezes for like 15 seconds like every minute. Lag on weekends is even worse.
Is Tech aware of this? Are they doing something about this? because this lag exists couple of weeks, as far as i am aware of.

This is something that we (mod teams) have reported, so to that end they are at least aware higher up. However I really do not have any more information on the issue at this point

Excuse me (not trying to be mad or bad sounding, hope you understand) how you do not have any information on this issue from technical team? I mean this lagging has been going on for month/s now, starting at night.

 

In part because we don't generally speak directly with the tech guys. It's been acknowledged and I believe there have been some fixes to try helping the issue but evidently there is more work to be done.

Yeah well I don't know why, but maybe, because it's lagging so much, there should be server restart after the lagging starts. You know, that might fix the lag.

You're welcome I don't know if they will add a second server restart, even if just temporarily, to automatically occur in the evenings but suppose we'll see what happens

 

Hope so, I'm currently on Tunnel of Terror and it's like 1 sec not lagging then 30 seconds freezed so I can barely lock a boss lordakia and then it freezes then when it's 1 sec not lagging I can shoot it. Imagine that. First waves = 10min in because no uridium for kamikaze and no premium either.

 

At least you are playing, I cant even get through the loading screen

 

As temporary solution they should restart the server twice a day. After nightly restart for next 12 hours server never lags at all.

 

Global Europe 1 has still delay. I have difficulty in connecting to the client. I can't jump to other maps and can't even login to 1-1. Also there is also a delay on clicking the quests and the 2nd epic quest have no rewards stated? Also the spectral lasers 1 and 2 are missing in shop. Moreover the most important is to fix the lag first.

 

18/10/2016 --- 8:40 pm . Now i cant even get into the game, stuck on "Establishing connection" window. This is ridiculous.

 

We appreciate your patience on this issue. We have passed on reports as to the lag issue as well as player unable to access that particular server. Please know this matter is being looked into.

some aditional info:
I wasn't able to get into game from like 8:40 pm. I was stuck on "Establishing connection" window. I tried to get into game like every 15 minutes. I tried for couple of hours with no result. I tried to delete history, cache, tried different browsers - no result.

Today, early in the morning ( like 11:00 am) i got into game without any problem.

 

Any update on this issue? I have started playing yesterday on Global Europe 1, and I have to say that lags are crazy. Can't do anything most of the time..

PS. "Establishing connection..." lasts forever..

 

I do completely understand the frustration of the situation. I am sorry that this matter has not been resolved in a more timely manner. I do know that the information has been passed on and it IS being investigated.

Seriously, what is wrong with GE1

 

As another frustrated GE1 player I would like to add that if the dev team do look at the server during normal office hours it will seem fine. The severe lag we are experiencing starts around 7pm server time and continues until the 04:30am restart. I emphasize the word "severe" - you click something in the client and it responds after 10-20 seconds. This even includes such things as ore transfers and quest tabs!

The funny thing is, Darkorbit keeps adding new things, yet they can't fix lag that has been there for months.

 

I play at 5:00 PM EST out of New York , USA. And I have to wait until 11:30 PM for the re-start , my time. And I agree with all the prior comments posted .If this is such an ongoing issue then maybe you should have more re-starts in order to accommodate those of us who would like to get some game time in on our schedule.

Thank you all for assisting the user with their concern. The issue has once been passed up as stated above and fixes were implemented but it seems the issues are still ongoing and have thus been passed up again (again).
