[TI] Global Europe 7 back page issues & chat

    Hello,

    It seems that today the back page of the Global Europe 7 server is stuck. To be more precise, the loading time of the hangar & achievements page is taking too long, almost one whole minute to display my ships (and, as a matter of fact, I have only two ships and not much equipment to load). Any another page has no problems so far; for example: auction is fast, Skylab is loading fast too, with no problems at all.

    In addition to these issues with the back page, the server chat seems to not be working. I have tried connecting multiple times, also restarted my network equipment, but it didn't fix anything.

    I am sorry if you are aware of these issues; I have checked the forum but didn't found anything related to this topic. If that is not the case, please close this thread.

    Some more details:
    • I am living in Europe, thus playing on European server. Have tested my connection, everything is normal as usual, no high ping/network issues found;
    • if you need any network trace logs, or ping statistics, let me know; I can provide them;
    • have no lag issues while playing the game (in the space).

  2. The Chat is an issue that has been seen on many servers and was supposedly corrected.

    The Hangar does not matter how many ships you own as it has to load EVERY Ship AVAILABLE now. I do agree we should be able to choose if we want to display ALL Ships or OWNED Ships in the Hangar view. I personally have seen a slow load on the Hangar and Galaxy Gate Materializer Pages on my USA Servers. I also believe it is a FLASH Support issue that has been discussed and supposedly going to be rectified before the demise of FLASH in 2020, but as usual will be a reactive correction instead of PROACTIVE, as many other games have taken, and already switched from FLASH.

    The issue is not your machine.

    @HelpMeHelpYou Thanks for the feedback! I supposed that the issue is not up to my end, that's why I started this thread. The Flash player definitely has to go, it's already too much outdated. I believe that the DO team is working on another solution, though. :)

    Thank you HelpMeHelpYou for assisting the user with their concern. We could go on the normal route and ask you to clear your cache or relog/check Java updates, but this issue seems to occur constantly for an unknown reason even after the new chat(for us) was implemented. Should you go days or stick it out for weeks we ask that you please use the Chat section here on the forums or contact Support for further guidance and assistance.

    Closing as referred to Support/answered.
