[TI] Insane lag issues on Global Europe 1

Greetings,

Today I have started playing on Global Europe 1. Noticed the insane lag going on, at first thought it is up to my connection. But, on chat others said that they have the same issues and that the game is unplayable for them too.

What is going on with the server? It is unplayable, I was not even able to lock down a Streuner on X-1 map. If you need any ping or tracert statistics, let me know.

EDIT 1: As of 22:42 (UTC +1), I am not even able to enter the space map. It is stuck in connecting:

Same issue, the server latency was never fixed, keeps coming back when server is a bit loaded like tonight.
If you can't manage the number of players you have on this server just don't accept anymore !

Now i can't even login, earlier i poped twice because of latency, also quick bar wasn't working, no EMP no lasers nothing !

 

The login issue is being blamed on DDoS attacks again. The Lag has been increased since April First and compounded with each and every one of the Updates added since.

 

They're being under ddos every night ?! it's been a week now since double gg event and yet, they're still under ddos and done nothing about it ?
people are investing time or/and money in this game, give them something in return, a fluid game isn't that much to ask for !

Ddos attacks eh? Stop being so cheap and get a VPN that does something lmao or better yet spend more money and get a better upgrade. ( Not to HelpMeHelpYou...) On global america 1 its honestly a joke how much money they make on this game for it to be so bad.. and I mean hey, DO doesnt help with support nor have I heard an official time to expect UBA or JPA to come back so I can most definitely see why the person would wanna ddos so many times. All I would have to say is track the damn IP ...

 

I am impressed now. These issues last for a WEEK? How do you people play this game? I can't even move from base, nor shoot a damn Streuner for my beginners mission.

I've sent a mail along as to there being complaints about lag there again. There's not really much else we have in way of information at the moment, but I can at least advise you we've passed it on for now.

EDIT 1: @Solid_Eye Game unplayable again. Can barely connect, and if I do so, there is no chance to move from base. What is going on? No announcement about this issue? I am almost three days on the server, with playtime of 1 hour because of the issues.

As TL_Solid_Eye stated above this issue was passed up and an e-mail was sent along notifying Support/Developers. With the recent Server restarts and small fixes are you still currently experiencing this issue?

 

Just to add, the game works fine directly after server restart, however few hours later the game becomes unplayable

It is funny how that when GE1 server messes up that GA1 server follows about 5hrs later on lag issues... intentional or not, this is getting out of hand and needs to be sorted. So for those that play on GE1, you are not alone, as it does affect other servers, mainly GA1 shortly after xD

No surprise, when the weekend hits the game gets messed up... Next

Not sure @Deter , have not been playing a lot because of the issues. Will play tonight and update this post, but my statement won't be relevant because I play only during night hours (have no idea what's the situation during day hours).

 

For me ga4 is still unplayable.

 

GB2 is also getting near the point of unplayable. Even with cache clearing every hour or so; including full browser restarts and PC reboots.

Yesterday had no lag issues. Tonight staring to face some lag issue, from around ~20:40h UTC+1. These lag issues are not brutal, but seem to come for couple of seconds and go. Have checked my Internet connection, though. The problem is not on my side, which means that the server is causing the lag.

EDIT 1:
It is 21:37h UTC+1, the lag issues seem to be gone. As it seems, it was some temporary issue. Will keep the post updated if I notice more lags for tonight.
If support needs some more details about my connection to the DO servers, tracert or anything else, let me know.

 

Since 05-09 on GA1 on 4-1 4-2 4-3 (today starts on 4-5) i have lagg. If my ship log out on one of these maps i can't re-log. When i'm logged in, after trying 5 times to reconnect, i see the map but not gates or BBC loaded. Now i can play only (without "lag") on 3-6 3-8 3-7 and other ones. And a yesterday support says me that maybe i have problems with my pc settings/hardware... (sorry for the mistakes if there are xD)
