[TI] Lost in R-Zone with no way out

Captains log;

It would seem my ship has entered into a type of space time warp within the R-zone.
Although it appears that my ship is in the R-zone as described by my mapping computer, I am alone in the map and now have the ability to move through solid objects, map barriers and the like. Unfortunately however there seems to be no way out. The R-zone exit codes try to establish connection but fail at every attempt. Logging out changing ships and logging back in places me right back where I started...in the R-zone with a different ship but no option to warp out of here. I have exhausted all methods of escape and am now forced to accept my fate....alone forever in the R-zone.
If any ships passing this way receive this message please notify DO command. Hopefully they can construct a method of retrieval for my ship. As for me I may not make it. A peculiar type of radiation is wreaking havoc with my ship controls including life support.

Sounds like you entered a breach in the space time continuum lol :-D Have you tried the eject button, (x1 insta jump cpu)? If that doesn't work it could be browser/flash related. If your using Chrome, try using a browser with an outside flash player like opera or firefox. Make sure to clear all your cookies, flash cache, before closing the browser. You'd be surprised at how often simply clearing all of your cookies and cache can resolve a issue. ;-)


P.S. what map did it occur on and did you happen to use a ship special ability while in or near the rad zone?

In all seriousness though, I am sorry you ran into this and moreso as it seems we aren't able to try jumping you tonight it seems. I wish I could offer better news on that but I doubt our ability to try jumping you in this instance will be fixed before tomorrow at the earliest.

If you could tell us exactly when you got stuck in the cross server zone I'll add it to existing reports.

About the only thing I can suggest really is to maybe combine your earlier attempts with the clear cache etc mentioned above (ty ΨÊMPÊŔŐŖΨ). Clear your cache etc, close the browser out, restart it and then maybe try to change your active ship in the hanger; or try on another browser.

Solid_Eye, server time was 13.28 on USA East when I found myself inside the space tear.
My Cookies and flash were cache cleared multiple times in an effort to free my ship but alas to no avail.
Emperor, I wanted to try the insta jump recommendation however now my coms cant even establish connection with the server.
Your advices nonetheless have boosted my confidence that I am going to get through this.
I have inverted my gamma module and connected the stream to my hull which has for the time being slowed the radiation effect on the ship. My computer confirms that if I shut down all non essential systems I should be able to extend life support functions till server reset at midnight.

Good to hear from you,
When I login in with a new ship on my computer my navigation display still shows the ship within the R-zone map.
I believe I have somewhere around 7 ship designs stuck in the R-zone so far using this method.
I have heard that if you were to reset your systems server at 24:00, It should zero my Navigation sensors so I can recalibrate them and expose the portal back to normal space.
Till then I can do nothing more than wait.

I'm not certain who will actually work on this case or if this post will be read by them but here's some background if it may help your troubleshooting efforts.

After the "initial" Refraction's log in queue was activated it did not make a connection. I let it run for several minutes before I closed the window to try again....and no connection, and again...no connection.
So then I proceeded to my hanger and loaded another ship and attempted a new server connection.
The server opened in the R-zone but really shouldn't have as this was a different ship. The R-zone it opened in also didn't seem right because there were no other ships...I was alone.
I then used the R-zone log out window to try again. This did not work as the R-zone log out was dysfunctional. I then closed the server window and re-logged but now it would not make a connection with that ship.
So i go back to my hanger selected another ship and tried again....it would open in the R-zone but not allow me to leave.
Interestingly enough, any ship I attempt to log in with opens in the R-zone at a location coinciding with the location of the ship in the last map which it was used in, IE; at a spaceport or map gate. This lands me in peculiar areas of the R-zone map sometimes within barriers or outside the map confines altogether.
In my frustrated efforts to get free of the R-zone, I have stranded approximately 10 of my ships.
Clearing cookies, flash cache etc. and the normal go-to correction methods such as updating my flash player have been utilized all to no avail.
I have loaded the game through different browsers (Internet Explorer and Firefox) as well with no positive results.
Hopefully tech support has better luck than me at resolving this issue.
