[TI]My fps 40-60 fps Why? I bought a new computer?

Hey guys I have a question. I bought a new computer it's very powerful. It has gtx1060 i7 512gb ssd and 16gb ram but my game's graphic is bad if I play zoom %110 it will be come more bad and fps it's going down I saw on the youtube they are recording video and playing but quality was very good and fps 60+ I don't know why. I looked I can play every game full settings but in darkorbit fps low and quality bad. I am playing with chrome I used another option same thing. Thanks guys have a good day...

Nothing you can do, it is just how Dark Orbit is made.

 

Moving to Technical Issues.

While it may not be able to help much / at all, one thing to make sure of is that your drivers are up to date as well as making sure chrome is up to date.

You could also try using other browsers and comparing FPS results and deciding which one works best for you.

 

There is 2 small things that could already change a lot:

1. Enable flash player to use unlimited memory (I could put link to this exact fp settings but idk if I am allowed to)

2. If playing 2d, whenever logging in, right-click and then click on low quality ..even just this will change a lot already.

I always had very bad fps with my 6y old PC but as I now have a pretty decent one with new I7 etc, I do have stable 60 fps.

For sure, when I happen to be in the middle of a very big group fight, fps will drop quite a lot some times, but that's just how it is.

 

Darkorbit is a Flash game, and it only utilizes single-core performance. No Graphics Card, no multi-core support.

Check your processor online to see how it ranks in single-core performance.

 

The game is designed to run at 60fps max so anything between 40 and 60fps is acceptable. Even with a high end machine you will not get more than 60fps. Also flash is not muti-core friendly as it can only use a single core.
