[TI] no captcha code

  1. hi, i've recently ran into trouble with the captcha code for the auction, when i go to bid a bunch of times, i of course get the error message asking for a captcha code, however, there is no captcha code, i only have the error and the two options to send or cancel, when i click send it tells me i failed the security check, this tends to be a bit annoying since i do use the auction a fair bit.

    Hey there Wren_Hunter,

    If you are using any adblocking software, or javascript blocking it may be interfering with the captcha. Also, try clearing your cache as you may just have a bad captcha image which may not be getting updated.

    If this doesn't work, respond back with a screenshot of what you see.

    What browser are you using? (Also what plugins/addons)
     
  5. i am using google chrome and i do not have any plugins or addons that i can think of
    as a side note i will occasionly get the captcha code but even when i enter it correctly it wont accept it

    Could you try running on a different browser like firefox/etc, and seeing if it still occurs? If it does it's not just browser dependent. if not, then I would check chrome's settings / redownload? as it seems something is afoot.

    Good to hear, I'd suggest a reinstall of chrome to see if that fixes anything, or you can keep using another browser.
