[TI] P.E.T. deactivates

The P.E.T. used to jump gates with me and stay activated . Now when I jump a gate the P.E.T. deactivates . It would only be a minor inconvenience if it didn't cost 72 units of fuel every time.
Is this a glitch or a new normal?

 

I sometimes get the impression that if P.E.T. is too far from the gate when you jump, then P.E.T. does not jump. So you have to deactivate/reactivate to force P.E.T. to get back to you.

EDIT: hmmm... that would be worth a test...

 

It has happened to me since a long time, most recently yesterday and most days would be about it, now but not consistently enough to really tie it down.. I may have mentioned it in here but would have been a year ago and I dont remember if it had a thread title or what

 

This "sometimes" happens to me and "sometimes" doesn't.
Just another of the many "quirks" we have all come to "LOVE and enjoy" about this game of late..................

 

I know I have jumped portals and had to restart the PET as he is stuck at the Portal. I have not seen him actually deactivate though. It is a glitch that is not happening enough for the dev's to recreate and see exactly want is happening to find the fix for it.

Thank you all for assisting the user with their concern. Have not seen this issue personally, but will pass on the issue if you can provide a video or screenshots of when this occurs.

Just take your acct. and try to jump some gates with an active PET . You will no doubt see . I doesn't happen 100% of the time but , often enough where it does waste fuel. Otherwise I have received as much feedback as I needed and you can close at your discretion
