[TI] Problem with shield value when changing configuration

Hello,

I have noticed a problem when changing configurations, regarding shield value. My first configuration is the damage configuration, where shields are equipped on my ship, and my drones have lasers.
On the second configuration, I have my run setup, with shield on drones and speed generators on ship.

What happened today: I was hunting in 3-3 map with my first configuration, then changed to second configuration. Noticed that I lost all my shield on the second configuration, and the damage was going straight on my ship.

In the image below, you can see that Streuner attacking me, while the damage goes on my HP.


Also, please notice that below my HP bar, there is no shield bar.

Here is the image of my second configuration, with the shields equipped on drones:


I am using Google Chrome (version: 56.0.2924.87, 64-bit) with Flash Player (version: 24.0.0.221).

Have you tried to clear cache or see if problem also exist at different browser? Also you may try to delete your configurations and then equip them back and see if it solves the problem.

The problem is not with the cache, cause I can't always reproduce the issue. Sometimes it happens, sometimes not. Very hard to reproduce, cause I don't know the main cause behind this issue. I don't play in other browsers at the moment, only from Google Chrome.

I have not tried deleting the configurations and equipping them again, will do try that later before I get in the game again.

Thank you •»Radiance«• for assisting the user with their concern. When you put shields on your run configuration, did you let them charge? or did you just fly out on first configuration and then switched to second expecting your shields to be fully charged? This may be the issue as you stated you headed to 3-3 on battle config(1st config) meaning you never let the 2nd config charge it's shields. So when it came to change configuration there were no shields.

Our apologies if this sounds basic, but this is what i'm getting from your description. Please let us know if you are still experiencing this issue.

My apologies, maybe I have not explained properly my issue. I had both configurations fully charged with shields. Then suddenly, my second configuration was out of shield, and it never filled the shields. I even stayed in base for couple of minutes to see if the shields will get back up. Notice on the first image in my initial post, there is no shield icon on the mini-window, and there is no shield value (even no zero value) for the shields. It was like completely missing from my second configuration.

After I have re-launched the 3D client, my shields were there again, fully charged.

I have cleared the cache, along with both configuration, and re-equipped all my items again. So far, I had no problems. Maybe it was just some weird temporary bug with the 3D client.

Don't close this thread just now, let's wait couple more days and see if this bug will happen again.

Just wanted to notify that the issue seems to be solved; must have been some cache issues. Since I have reported this issue, I had no problems at all.

Kept clearing cache, though. You can close this thread, it is definitely not a client issue. Sorry for the false alarm.
