[TI] Sending a message issue

    Every time i try to send a message to a friend i keep getting an error and the message is not sent.

    I know the message system requires the person to be in your contact list, either as a friend or clan mate.

    Ask your friend to have a look at Pilot Sheet > Edit profile, at the bottom it has a setting for the message system. Which depending on what it is set to decides who can send you messages, which sounds like might be causing the error sending messages to them.

    Since there are settings to only allow certain people to be able to send you a message. Which the settings are only friends(contacts), everyone or no one can send you a message.

    Which if it is due to a setting on there, the error should look like this:

    (if the error doesn't look like this, then do a screenshot of the error. So then should have a better idea of the problem you're having)

    Have you tried using a different browser to see if you still get that error? And which server are you on trying to send messages?

    Also should post your User ID as well, which will help mod/admins to see if it is an account based issue. (it is listed in this section rules you should be as well)

    (of course also try clearing browser cache/flash)

    tried google and firefox still same error.

    Hmm, maybe Deter or someone will peruse threw here and have a look on your acc. for you and sort out the problem. I've seen that error before but don't remember if it just fixed itself or if I had to do something :rolleyes:

    I have and excellent memory but, the recall sux :cool:

    I used to see this occasionally and I would copy and paste the message to a new window and it would then go through. It is kind of like the error I get frequently trying to post to the forums and causes so many of the double posting of many persons replies.

    So far its been only when i send a pm to someone from my contacts. it forces me to refresh but no send.
