[TI] SkyLab Videos Failures Continue

These seem to be working this morning. Some are having you click to "View' "Learn More" or "Watch" but are sending you off site, not to worry as they are actually giving the credit for the click in the SkyLab. I have used all of my available between last night and this morning and was able to get credit for the 5 I clicked this morning.

Those interested can give it a try and you might be able to get the reduction we have been promised for so long. I have been inspecting these and they are still full of errors but at least we are getting the credit we so deserve.

I suggest using NotePad and cut and paste the errors in case you do not get the credit, one of the errors has the line that is required for identification. Some of the lines do not cut properly (address information does not transfer and you need to cut and paste it in 2 steps), but by saving the information to NotePad you can cut and paste it to either the forums or Support for them to look at IF you did not receive the time reduction.

Thank you @Solid_Eye for your assistance in getting this corrected after so many months/years of it not working.

I found the "OXY" ad is still not fixed and assume the "Straight Talk" will have the same issue but am no longer seeing all of my views "Powered by Supersonic" failing to give me the reduction, but will be patient while they work on these insecure items trying to be posted to a secure site.

I see there are a lot of new ads being seen now and they have warnings and errors in them, some pay and some do not and then some are intermitent wheter they pay or not. Some of these are not even videos as you click on them and they take you to a different website altogether. Here is the list I recently viewed and subsequent errors/warnings;

I did not realize there were going to be so many different watch, learn, or more information videos when I started collecting these but quickly decided I needed to ad the main subject to the item instead of just the click to start line.

I found that the Supersonic ads have returned with a vengeance as I have wasted all 20 of my attempts to gain 2 hours of transfer (in 11 hours of shipment) 3 different (right after shipment sent on us3 again at day change 3 hours later on both servers, then this morning for 2 hours about half an hour apart) times and all I got were failed videos and an ERROR telling me to contact Support and a friend was told;

This instance looks like it may have been a simple connectivity issue. This can happen but unfortunately, without a HAR file from the instance, there is little we can do to investigate this.

I am sorry I was unable to help more with this.

This happens right after opening the SkyLab and should not be a matter of waiting too long. The fact that it registers as a failed attempt and you have to relog (not refresh the window) to be able to view another video you take the risk of having it happen again.

Today (29 June 16) I saw 5 different videos all had errors in the "Inspect" similar to the last entry but they all gave me the reward as expected. I had 2 failures (one was exactly like the last one reported) and one was a typical "Powered by Supersonic" where the window loads and an arrow is there to start the video but nothing happens but a 10% failure is a heck of a lot better then a 10% success rate.

Though this is not perfect and there are still errors being seen, as long as we can collect the rewards it is nice to see the videos working. Thank you to those who have correcetd the issues, and I will continue to report New Videos that actually Fail to reward, however as the "Failed to load resource::ERR_CACHE_MISS" is happening to most of the videos this may need to be investigated.

 

It seems I am not having the luck of you as I am getting 1 good video and then the 2 different "Powered by Supersonic" that you mention. Has anyone looked to see if these errors are account associated as I have not been able to get more than one or two to give me the credit I need/deserve out of 10 attempts. I even saw where Support has closed tickets (roommate reported the issue and responded to the response to have it bounce back as a closed ticket) without resolving the issue stated in Edit #2 of the O P, and referred it to an outside source, even though one person says it is a connectivity issue and another person says it is a vendor issue but the issue still stands we are losing the ability to view a video and being told to contact Support if we need help. With this I have to ask why the counter even exists? Give us unlimited views of videos and allow us to empty the SkyLab by using them if we want. A fully operational SkyLab will only produce so much materials in a day anyway (unless we turn refineries off or buy robots for the collectors, which is not that cost effective primary ores do not give lots of credits). My maximum seems to be like 10-11K between Promerium and Seprom, in a 24 hour period, which is sent in one shot to my Citadel (it holds 11316 with Bio and PET), but by shutting the Seprom off for a day I am able to produce more Promerium than I can send per day, and when storage is full I turn the Sep back on.

Okay so after a day of 100% rewards (all the same 2+ minute video, Morning Star Farms) I get a complete failure today first video watched short YouTube Iams commercial with no pay, then a failed to load so it would not start video followed by a repeat but this time it ran 10 minutes with no reward and when it started the second time I left the video as I already knew it was going to fail anyway. Would a person be wrong in assuming these videos are not even being tested before being implemented into our system.

Okay so we went from having a 80% or better success rate to 100% failure again. What is up with this? I understand these are Outside Source Advertisements, but should D O Quality Control not be verifying they work before allowing them to be applied to the website? The warnings I am seeing are just stupid errors using a HTTP site to store images used in a HTTPS site is just insane. And the major errors are from Bigpoint and their failure to load resource for the payment.

The really sad part of the great success rate was it was the same ad over and over now we are back to the "SuperSonic" ads that seem to be several different customers using the one provider and they are just failing to load at all.

 

You know what really stinks? Watching the same video 3 times in a row and not getting a single credit for having done so. Here is the information for the ad that you keep saying you want but it does not explain why you can not control the advertisements on your website or in your game.

Make that 4 times and even watching it twice hoping to get credit.

Well I watched 7 videos and got ZERO minutes credit for watching them the other 3 were failed to load "Powered by Supersonic" ads that no one has cared to do anything about for months as was stated in the first thread I saw posted by @HelpMeHelpYou trying to get information about how to "Edit HTML" and comments made by others as he was unable to determine what it said in the upper right corner of the screen.

If failed videos were not enough now they give us blank videos which are just as useless as the others. Twice I tried to view a video and sat in front of a blank video box. Clicked the reload inside the right click menu and nothing happened. I see even after 30 days something that should be the control of D O, even though Support says it is not, is still plaguing the system.

But then Support says they do not have any control on these so why is the last line being shown in this window and why even after refreshing the window 5 times can I not get to view another video (message reads "there are currently no videos available") and why does this error cost us a viewing?

Please do not ignore these questions like you have this entire thread and other threads I have created on this unresolved issue.

I have been experiencing the same problem lately. It is like that for a week or so. Before that i could of get at least 4-5 reductions from 10 on the timer for my cargo to arrive. Now every single time i get the "We're sorry, but there are no videos available right now.
Please try again later.". Allthough it says that i have 10/10 avaialble. The same thing goes for the extra energy spins as well. In my opinion if you can not make something work like it shoulb be, there is no point having it at all.

Well I had the unfortunate opportunity to get the "error" telling me to contact Support twice today along with the SuperSonic ads that fail to load. Then I got a super long (over 10 minutes) dealing with air safety, it gave me the credit for viewing but it should have been a shorter video. Here is the information i collected as I expected it to fail;
