[TI] Spectral Lancer III lasers still not working properly!

Spectral Lancer III lasers still not working properly! They shoot UFO much weaker than they should be (170)! When will fix it?

More than a month and this Spectral Lancer III lasers issue still exist! Darkorbit will fix lasers or not?

 

LOL, how does that thread go to the archive when it is an active issue and no mod to time to chime in even as far as to say it was closed. It really needs to be in the noob section so players know what to expect from the said equipment.

 

Who even has full spectral lancers tho? if you have the 500k+ uri to buy them all in assembly then you might as well drop all that on gates... but if there really is a problem, then DO should step up and fix their game.

 

You mean the SLL3? Somebody will get them, or at least claim to, just to say how much they suck. You can get the SLL2 for credits on the cheap, but the only reason to is to get powered up faster for knocking out those NPC missions until you can get LF3/LF4 to replace them. Nobody else should even bother unless their CC is just aflame from non use.

DO does need to step in and fix these issues. I am having a hard time believing that they didn't know about the issues before rolling them out. I get sick of watching the twich feeds since everytime a real question is put to them, they look like politicians at a news conference, and then have the nerve to laugh at other questions that come up every time.

 

i was referring to the SLL3's that cost 15k uri to assemble. SLL2's cost 300k creds.

 

I know, I have a set of SLL2 and unfortunately can't do any upgrades with them the way I run my account because even though they cost credits to buy, cost uri to upgrade. So crazy this game is.

Thank you all for assisting the user with their concern. Have loaded up a Spectral LaserII & Spectral LaserIII(without upgrades) onto the Admin ship(not equiped on drones) and here were the results with No upgrades on Drones and Drones at level1, no seprom, no damage boosters(nor shared), no damaged drone formations, no Havocs, no ship damage buffs;




And this below is Spectral LaserII





These lasers are firing to their Max damage description. We ask if it was possible you could have had Wheel or some kind of damage reduced drone formation while firing at the UFO?? It is a fast UFO assuming you were using wheel formation?


Edit: My apologies have looked into this issue and it has been passed up if this is concerning the damage output being lower when the laser is placed on a drone slot.

 

Here's my today test of 1 and 24 Spectral Lancer III lasers (170) and 1 and 24 LF3 (150) - 10 in ship and 14 in drons. Aegis Elite Ocean A-Elite - absolutely nothing in ship except lasers. Seprom in lasers, no damage boosters, no damaged drone formations, no Havocs, no PET. Exact same ship configuration in both tests. As can be seen Spectral Lancer III lasers still not working properly! That's why I put this topic.

 

As previously stated by Deter, this issue has been passed on and further investigation into this matter will be done.
We do realize the frustration of the situation, however we can merely report the issues. How and when they get resolved is something we have no control over.
