[TI] USA Server Time

Okay so forever we have known the server is the same as the local time whether east coast or west coast (3 hours difference). Since the data migration both coasts are running the same time zone and West coast is 7 hours ahead of where it usually is. This is causing issues with players awards and routines.

Is there any plans to correct this issue or are we to reset our clocks to comply with the new end of day at 1700 (which begins prime time playing for most)?

Something small but very important. In a game time is crucial to many things such as events, tasks, and Users. As stated, the issue is on their list along with other issues.

 

Thank you for the reply but something as simple as entering the correct time zone on the server seems to be a 30 second fix and not a several day issue. It also creates issues with things like Login Bonus, Kronos Day, Special Rewards, Double Rewards, and etc where people are not looking at the main page clock to see the current time.

You can close as it is so unimportant to D O to return the game to what we have been so used to being for so long (since the beginning of the separate servers).

 

agreed. fix time on servers. MHH was at 2pm today. noone is on. and wheneveryone gets on this evening, nobody is going to buy uri since the MHH already happened. its 5:00pm EST and server is 9:00pm and this effects EVERYTHING. from events to special rewards,double gg, oh yea and the most important thing for DO, buying uri! so fix it.

Time should be the first thing that is fixed, not simply on the list. The Time on the server that runs the different servers should be able to be set. If both East and West are going to be run on the same time, simply change the Server names slightly and choose a time that can possibly work for both zones. That 3 hour window between the coasts affects a lot of people and you may need to set different times for certain events to kick off on them since one computer seems to be running it. We are talking about a loss of revenue that DO should be paying attention to since nobody can get in on those money events at the time they are hitting.

 

i have a window of 4 hours it affect me a lots i came to this server special because the time diffrence so i can join in the events task bud now cant play any events task and its boring

 

I feel you. Most normal event items are during my work time, so I do the regular grind and work on special event stuff when they hit, but upgrade hour is my baby and fortunately at work, I can log on to do it. But this time hick-up is a pain where I don't like it.

 

I saw the UBH yesterday at noon and thought it was a special weekend run until I looked at the server clock.

 

Yeah, that's the problem everyone is having. We all have lives and try to do things around normal timed events if we are wanting to participate but with the time issue right now, things are hitting a back log. The good thing is I can just keep working on saving for UBH, but players dying for Spaceball, and CC are really in a lurch.

 

Yea, I even changed my Transfer time to avoid the harassment of MHH and then they run it for 2 hours (one for new time and one for regular, according to current back page time) so I still dealt with the constant pop up with MHH Timer, after every screen refresh.
