[TI] What are you going to do about Seprom

2 seprom bugs in 2 years. 6 months in between them getting fixed. Enough for people to have made massive amounts of seprom (1 guy on my server has 150 million).

So you have guys who haven't made the seprom bug with only 90k seprom on lasers every 2,3 days, and you have guys who have 150 million seprom. Where's the fairness in this? I think I wrote a similar thread when the last bug got fixed.

I'm asking for a team response (hopeful not the usual pass it up the pipeline rubbish) as I would like to see what your plans are and whether you have any intention on rebalancing.

 

Yes ty for reminding me of this. We didnt cheat and we want some kind of kudos and/or compensation.

Time after time I feel like an idiot for not taking advantage of the bugs and cheats.

I should NOT have to feel like this for playing by the rules.

As far as I am aware, there was an update to fix a Seprom related issue. I do not have specifics on the related fix, but if you can provide me with more information, I can forward it up the chain to see if it was one of the issues resolved by the fix.

My idea of having a reward for fairness. But i'm sure DO isn't keeping track of people who are and who aren't cheating seprom right now. I too feel bad for not taking advantages, but deep down i feel like an angel.

 

I'm confuse with this. it is very easy to get 1 mil. sep on lazers. just by using your skylab. my skylab is at lvl 18 in sep the rest are all at max and it fills up pretty fast. I normally only play about 2 hours a day but do log back in to make a transfir if I can. My skylab is making it, don't need it any other place but my ship at this time, can't sell it off for uri, So why not stack it on lasers and rockets. I'm pretty sure there may be more players then you think who have a mill of sep. on those lasers. So if your cheating to get them, then that would be wrong but I don't think they should put a cap on how much you can can keep on ship. that's my 2 cents on this. have fun and remember "seprom envy can be all consuming".

 

DO should just reset the seprom in lasers or give ban to people who has impossible seprom count in lasers without the bug
For example:

Player A has 90,000,000 seprom in lasers
This is impossible to get without bug since to get 9,079 seprom will take atleast 2 days
if this guy didnt use bug then that guy has been storing seprom for atleast 20000 days without shooting anything

*Seprom lv 20 produces 189 seprom each hour this if we times it by 48 hours (2days) the result is 9,072

 

ŊΛŘΛÐΛ, maths are right. How long has skylab been online and if a player has more than what is possible than ban them. Yeah, some fool could be carrying some sep, but not much and only once.

 

if you move 3100 sep to ship every 6 hours you have 12,400 sep each day, take in mind that doring that 6 hours the lab is still producing sep. Most days I'd be lucky to transfir 4 times in one day. If you box for a entire game time ( wihich is 2 hours for me) like I do once or twice a week. that would 2 days of no shooting to say . then if you pali and don't shoot off any lasers. thats 3 day's with out shooting so you no have 37,200 sep on lasers. I found this out upgrading my skylab. Need sep but when upgrading the sep unit on your skylab takes some time and I need the sep. I'm free player have not put one dime into this game, so I have to be frugal. I have to box for ammo,gate spins and uri. I also have to pali for gate spins. If your having an issue with not being able to keep sep on your ship it isn't do to other players not playing fare it's your strategy on how to use your skylab properly. Rethink your strategy, I have had to a few time while playing this game. I still don't see the issue here. Have fun

 

I am not sure how anyone could get 12k seprom in a day. Maybe that 24 hour period but after that, if you have more than 5.5k ready in a day, I want to know how. I transfer seprom onces a day and never have more than that after 24 hours.

 

no you have that much 1st day, 2nd day your skylab will have 0 seprom.
if you start with 9079 seprom and send 3100 every 6 hours you will run out of seprom in skylab after 4 shipments.
skylab can produce only 189 per hour
btw your post has nothing to do with exploits, you're just trying to explain to us how to use skylab properly.
tell me how do you explain having 100 000 000 seprom shoots on lasers???

 

Yeap bug users have a advantage. They can play 24/7 while we "mortals" can only shoot for 1296 seconds (witn 35 lasers) each 24 hours with sepped lasers. Which is less than 22 minutes. Players with bugged seprom have a massive advantage here.

 

Okay I made a mistake I put 3100 it should have been 2100 sep and 1000 prom. that way you are not draining your sep totally. that brings it 8400. if you hit every 6 hours. also while you were away for 6 hours your skylab just made 1,134 in sep . I have never used any type of cheat or bug. Just don't play all day only two hours of game time. so I have days that I don't have time to hunt need to box and pali. again all you have to do is re think how you use your skylab and you can stop worrying about folks who just may have a better strategy when it comes to using there skylab. I'll tell I think its it's unfare that folks can spend real money to buy uri to improve there ships and not earn those improvements. But I'm not trying to put a limit on how much they are aloud to advance with cash. have fun

 

Thank you for your thoughts on this matter. We do appreciate and understand how frustrating it is when players exploit an in game issue. As this matter is being investigated and those who abused it will be investigated by those higher up. As we here in forums do not know exactly who those people are who abused it and would prefer that the honest players not make any type of accusation against others.

Have you actually done this? You can only make 4536 in a day. I do agree that you have to have a good strategy when it comes to using your seprom. You can not just go around shooting everything or everyone in sight. You have to plan.

 

Yes I did do this but to transfir every 6 hrs is almost in impossible for me I work for a living. So I'm lucky if I do. But you first have to build up which means no shooting while boxing or pali. it was how I upgraded my lab, need to have sep while it was not producing doring upgrades, some take like a week. So I would stock up because soon or later you'll have to wait for it to catch back up. It's all on how you use your lab. I also saw the need for the lab and started it the first day I started playing. you all have fun
