[TI] Whats with the keybindings?

Im now seeing it more often. My key bindings are vanishing. Tonight I have 3 keys still set but the rest are gone.

Whats with the glitches? I lost these while chasing someone in 4-2

Night before it was 5-2

Could you be a bit more specific? Does this occur when you warp ships, log off, get destroyed? Could you please provide a few screenshots or video so we can further understand the issue you are experiencing?

 

@Deter this issue is one that has been around for 2 years. I experienced the issue where I would lose them when I logged in, jumped maps (via Portals). Tried to get help from Support (who had no idea what I was asking about) and finally had someone in the forums tell me to RE-BIND my keyboard bindings (even though they showed proper assignments). This was a problem for me for 30 days straight and I almost let the affected account be closed, when it finally cleared itself and I have not had the issue again since, but see it in the forums at least once a month every month.

 

Yes, even with cleared cache and a re-booted pc; thee are a 'few' times that when attempting to enter the r-zone, or even leaving the b-maps (happened once using the portal and twice via a jump chip); the assigned keys reverted to what appeared to be a default hot key setting.
I have only seen this 5 times over a year and a half.

 

I had it for a month straight, like I said, right after creating the US3 account then saw it on another account a couple times and have not seen it since on any of my accounts, but seen many people dealing with it in the forums. I believe it is a random bug that is jumping account to account and until they find it they will not be able to quarantine it. Since it only affects a handfull of accounts at a time this is going to be difficult to locate (first) and then remove (second) as it has evacuated the area when (IF) they decide to look for the issue, I threatened to leave the game and got nothing for it.

Thank you both for assisting with a clarification. As stated above, any video or screen shots of the issue would definitely help as we may not always come across the issue which makes it difficult to recreate and forward it to the development tech team.

 

Last night it was all of my key settings for premium keys. 3 of my set keys under regular key binds were still there. So odd. You would think it would be all of them.

This is the 8th time. Feel free to have support party on my account. I thought it was just 5-2 but last night I was in 1-4 and it happened in 4-2. So its not the map its something else.

Im going to re-bind them now at 7:50 and see how long they stay.

I never warp ships. This week I have just been doing quests. No special issues no real fights either. Have not died either.

 

Yup, lost them again. Was really cool had it happen in the 'tunnel of terror' waves and then fighting in 2-6. All keys reset. Tried signing in and out.

Oh and the energy leech is nerfed in the terror gate. Not a bit of help.

Thank you I set them somewhat last night but was frustrated when it happened the 2nd time. When I play Ill let you know.

 

@Deter when my bindings failed the list showed they were assigned as normal but I had to re-assign them anyway. This could be why Support could not assist me. It seems like the communication between the settings and controls failed.
