[TI] XP reward for gates

Hello,
I have completed Kronos gate. The reward supposed to be 12.000.000 xp.
I was using Veteran Goli which should give me +10% xp.
I used X formation on drones so I got no Honor points, but should get +5% xp.
I have experience booster +10% xp.
In Skill Tree I have level 5 Tactics that's +12% xp.
That add to +37%. I got 14.520.000 xp. Would somebody enlighten me if all the extra xp points apply in this case? And are they simply added, or compounded?

 

I don't think drone formations & Tactics give out more xp like that.

Thank you KilerStreak for assisting the user with their concern. As stated in the Drone Formation FAQ' Hit points are increased by 8%, and in PvE play only, laser damage is increased by 1% and XP earned from PvE(NPC's) is increased by 5%; however, no Honor is earned.

The Drone X Formation EP bonus will not add to the total EP bonus reward from the gate as it only works from the EP you would receive from npc's. If you were to take a look through your logbook you would see a bit higher EP rewards from the npc's you have destroyed.

Pilot Bio Tactic's increases EP for NPC kills only and not the EP reward total from the gate.

Thank you, but if the drone formation don't add any bonus to the reward from the gate, why It gave me the penalty? Instead of 450.000 honor I got 0.
In the store the X drone formation promise +5% Laser Damage against aliens.

 

X formation does offer 5% laser damage against npcs indeed, as well as 5% more XP from THEIR KILLS (gate rewards are not included here), however you DO NOT get any honor whatsoever (be it from NPC kills, gates or anything else)
On a side note I'd like to tell you that you've missed out on a whole lot of honor which is kinda sad if you ask me xD

 

Barrage is the only one formation that increases XP rewards from gates or quests.

 

The formation should be eider working, or not, as whole, if work only partly, it's bug.
The same go for the damage. I don't know what is right, but eider is true what's in the store, or what's in FAQ and one of them should be edited.
I didn't use the formation intentionally. After I defeated the Evil Myself, it didn't end, there was two portals I got back to base and return to the gate, ready for more npc. Instead more fight, it ended.

No Honor is earned, and PvP lasers cause no damage.

I think you are mis understanfing the function of the Drone formation.
I have further checked and the formation is working as intended.

Thank you Astraea. It seems I indeed misunderstand how the X drone formation work. I thought the "No Honor is earned" is exchange for the extra experience.
However I still do not understand the difference in damage FAQ state 1%, store state 5% and description in ship also 5%.

While there they just didnt fix the description after being updated. Correct is that one in-game.

Guess they will upgrade it in FAQ as well once they will read your post.

 

Thank you for bringing that typo to my attention. it should have read this:

Hit points are increased by 8%, and in PvE play only, laser damage is increased by 5% and XP earned from PvE is increased by 5%.
Please note that PVE is Players vs NPC.

This will give you the bonuses for the actual NPC kills, however it will not increase the reward given at the End of a gate.
