[UI] 3 SERVER MERGE PLOX

Since there was announce about USA west server with some others(unknown), I want to share my idea to make game better. I propose that DarkOrbit's developers merge 3 servers, each server should represent one company(example: whole USA west should be transferred to MMO company, Y server[unknown] should represent VRU and Z server[unknown] should represent EIC). The gameplay should be so much better.

 

my question is what happens to the ranks?

This Merger sounds like a way to make things crazy. Why is there a merger, because D O need more money. If they can reduce the number of servers then it is less equipment to operate and maintain too.

The servers have less and less people playing in them. The main reason is because there are a lot of people leaving D O. I have read post after post why they are leaving and most of the reason is MCC. D O doesn't want to mess with MCC for my thinking because they spend big bucks here making themselves better. Again "It is all about the MONEY."

I tried to stay out of this as I do not support the idea. Some people chose the Company they play because of others in Company or to be able to kill people who would not leave them alone in the Company they were in. To take an entire server and place them in a single Company is not right. Though D O has not announced anything about what servers will be merged I do believe they will be following Company lines with the mergers. Yes the RANKING system is going to take a major hit BUT if they delete the accounts KNOWN to be BOTTERS and remove the BULLIES (to their own server) then even though we see more people in the servers we may see that we do not loose too many spots in the Ranks.

Besides they will not be closing the servers so people are still going to be creating NEW accounts and where are they going to be placed or are they forced into the company of their area?

What announcement are we talking about? I can't find anything in Forums or Discord.

Following what HMHY stated, players choose when they first start playing what company they want to be in. Some players change companies from time to time for various reasons. Forcing a player, or group of players, to suddenly be in a different company than what they had been in for the past 1-10 years is just cruel, and probably lead to more needless wars. Nothing about that will make the game better. This idea just groups players that already know each other in a single company, some of which would never want to be associated in that way with some other players they have been going against.
