i was thinking since so many people insist bots are such a big issue to some people, and theres not a whole lot bp can really do to catch them, how bout you change the game in ways to discourage them?

a big reason anyone bots is because of how much time it takes to get the resources to buy chances to get things in this game, especially lf4s. so my idea is, remove chance, add b03 to the game and add it directly to the shop. yes wallet warriors are going to get an instant lead by doing this, but it also gives every player equal chance to get it. 20k uri is 20k uri wether you have 20 mil or 20k.

another way to get rid of bots that would take more work for the devs but would really kill 2 birds with 1 stone is to simply revamp the missions. add a huge slew of new items, each of them acquireable from missions, and all missions could be repeatable. also the addition of missions (and npcs) that could only be beaten in groups would really end the lone wolf problem of the game.

yes the 2nd idea would hurt peoples need to buy uri and thus give you money, but that also ends the games problem of wallet warriors ruining the game by killing every noobie that attempts to start the game. which would increase player retention, thus more people to spend money

as for a way to replace that income? well, they call them microtransactions, so id say sell designs. cheap. like 1$ per drone design, 5$ per ship design, and all asthetic or at least identical effect to drone designs acquired by missions. and make all pretty designs $ only, aside from a limited set of starter designs to make you want to spend on the pretty ones

    Hello OrbitGuru,

We understand your frustration with this issue. There are very firm instructions that those users must be left to be detected by the scripts, a process which is fair for everybody. We have a dedicated thread were users can voice their concerns regarding this issue in the Bots&Cheats thread located in Speakers Corner. We ask that you please read some previous posts before posting there so there is no repetition. Please remember all forum rules still apply there.

Closing as referred to appropriate thread,

    Take Care.
