[UI] Helix Upgrade

How about we change Upgrade Hour to Helix Upgrade that takes place every Monday and Friday 7-9? Upgrades take a long time once you get passed level 10 and an hour isn't enough time for a decent amount of upgrades to be placed.

As long asUpgrade was started before the hour ended you received the discount. IF you were smart you had everything upgraded to the point where you could start them ALL and then just wait for them to finish and run to the bank with the savings (maximum of 47.5%). When they were scheduled every other Friday people had 2 weeks to save up the Uridium needed and knew when to be ready for it now you just never know when you will see it.

 

The main reason upgrade hour isn't that often is probably because it forces you to buy a new rebate pack if you want the maximum amount of discount. The longer the time between two separate upgrade hours, the more likely you will be forced to buy a new rebate pack.

 

Even if it was every other week, that would be great. I just want an extension on the time. An hour isn't enough.

You can only do 1 upgrade at a time. You can upgrade multiple items, but only 1 level at a time. The extra time would give you more time to advance multiple levels rather than just 1. 1 hour on 1 day isn't enough to do any upgrades. I've hit maybe 2 Upgrade Hours since they became a thing.

 

As I tried to get you to understand is that completing ONE LEVEL on EVERYTHING at level 10+ just means you only have 6 more (or less) to finish the UFE upgrades needed. but as stated in the FAQ;

Q: So it takes time to upgrade an item?
A: Yes, every Level has a different time it needs to finish. Level 1 takes 2 minutes and every further level adds another 2 minutes to that time. For example level 15 takes 30 minutes to complete.

So with this information you can START 2 full UPGRADES in one hour, assuming you are fast enough to get them all started in less than 30 minutes.

 

Personally , I believe if a player pays full price for a 100% 'guaranteed' upgrade there should be a 'no waiting' period ... It should be an 'Instant Upgrade'

 

Which is why you need to extend the time and make it more frequent. 1 hour is barely enough time for 2 upgrades and upgrading 20 bo2 in that time twice takes a bit longer than the provided time.

 

They barely remember to have it in the first place. Unlike every other special they have in the game, it is so spaced out that even with the 5 days heads up on Discord (2100 logged in, 10 chatting lol) I don't even think about it when it is time. Its a great idea; most players still would not use it but it would give those who took the time a chance.
