You can tell alot when you look at the player stats they carry with them. You see their Name, Clan association, Rank, Gate completion. You can see what Drones they have and Stat designs that are installed. If they pull up a P.E.T. you get it's Name and Level. Click on them for Hull and Shield strength. "But what level are they ???"

Perhaps a title "color" change could be used to show off a little more about ourselves. It would be achievable and recognizable by all, with no regard to title worn. Associate title color to player level like martial arts. Beginner = White, Lvl 5 = Yellow, Lvl 10 = Green, Lvl 15 = Blue, Lvl 20 = Orange, Lvl 25 = Red, Level 30+ Gold because Black wouldn't show up.

P.S. Don't need the guy who wants to chime in and correct me on colors and rankings because that's not how its done in Mogey Shitzwandu

  2. You can have the max capability of HP for a pet at the level 20 but since prem players would keep it a bare min for kami, all that would not mean anything. If you want to know the hull and shield strength, just click on them and ask someone you are grouped with to tell you.

I would ask if you want this information made for bragging rights or recon a potential target. I personally don't like that they give so much information that you can glance at. Way too many players say "oh, flax bigboy, fire" that would run if they saw anyone with iris and no gate completion at the same level. I am sure this is mainly for PVP so I don't care if they do it or not.

P.S. If you don't or didn't want corrections, you could change "like" for "similar" and then it wouldn't matter if the rankings and colors were the same or not. After all this is a space game and not martial arts.

First, it really pays to read what it says and not respond to what you think it says. I was talking about identifying a players level by the color of his title. So what really means nothing is your own statement:" You can have the max capability of HP for a pet at the level 20 but since prem players would keep it a bare min for kami, all that would not mean anything. I stated in my original post "Click on them for Hull and Shield strength." so what are you trying to tell me with " If you want to know the hull and shield strength, just click on them " My post has nothing to do with being in a group " ask someone you are grouped with to tell you " The information you mention in this statement is already given and has nothing to do with my post " I personally don't like that they give so much information that you can glance at. Way too many players say "oh, flax bigboy, fire" that would run if they saw anyone with iris and no gate completion at the same level. " My P.S. statement had nothing to do with accepting correction but rather an attempt to stay on topic as not to drift off and dwell on other things like " If you don't or didn't want corrections, you could change "like" for "similar" and then it wouldn't matter if the rankings and colors were the same or not. "

P.S. I cannot begin to express the shock that fell upon me, and surely others who may read this, when we're faced with this new realization of the type game we are playing "
After all this is a space game and not martial arts " I feel so enlightened.

  4. You crack me up. What difference does a players level really mean? Take me for instance, level 18, in bigboy or nostro. No matter what color is given to whatever, what will it really tell you? Some players will put you to the wall at that level and some won't. You decided to attempt to pick apart my reply but skipped over my request for more information, so I am left in the dark.

I'm pleased to hear that I bring you some joy in life. " You crack me up " Perhaps to you, many, or everybody a players level means nothing. Perhaps it doesn't, however we post it on the P.E.T. which means even less. " What difference does a players level really mean? " All I said was, after achieving a certain level a pilots title color would change, so what does that tell you? " No matter what color is given to whatever, what will it really tell you? " This is your personal preference " Take me for instance, level 18, in bigboy or nostro. " This has nothing to do with me or my post " Some players will put you to the wall at that level and some won't. " I pieced through your reply in attempt to address all the issues, one by one, you placed on the table in your post. " You decided to attempt to pick apart my reply " In my original post the words I used were " Associate title color to player level " then proceeded to suggest at what levels colors would change along with suggested colors. That's the ALL OF IT, nothing more, so what do you still need? " skipped over my request for more information " I have no idea how to make it any simpler in which case you may well be " left in the dark "

P.S. Just wondering wasn't your stance, per your first post, " I don't care if they do it or not. "?

Oke let's all calm down a little. Back to the idea: I would never be able to come up with it: belt colors with a spaceshooter? Interesting combination. But now let's look at the functionality; as stated earlier a players level does not tell do much about their equipment or skills. The only way to be sure is to ask someone else. I do see some sort of future for this idea however. But I will make a separate topic for that later.

Calmly, Belt colors were only used as a comparison as they relate to levels. By golly we have levels with a space-shooter. You are spot on as it tells only player level. I never suggested it do anything further. I need not ask anyone about this other information, to which I have been reffered to twice now, because I was not seeking it. Just level, to whit I can see other benefits, which I have already addressed.
