[UI] Overall suggestions on fixing the games core issues.

    This will be a long spill about what I would suggest on helping the game grow for the future.

    It has come to my attention that the games natural open PvP system is not working. It is also heavily decreasing the new player count and player base as a whole. The game has been in a constant decline of new players and players in general as of recent years. Major contributors to the decline happen to be the horrible pay wall that the game shows and the abuse of already elite players that exist.

    Issue 1#

    The game has no safety net for new players and or any player who is not able to hit for over 150k damage in battle. There is no safe maps besides the literal starting maps which you can't farm on anymore due to diminishing returns by level. The open PvP system allows users who have amassed immense power to crush with literally no effort new players and or players who are trying to just do basic farming. Not being able to fight back or farm which are the basics of the game is a mass turn off. Being forced to sit next to a portal and or quest station is not fun and there is literally nothing stopping players who have amassed such power from sitting there and waiting for actual hours on end which they have done to me and many of my friends on a regular basis. This makes most individuals want to get off and do something else and puts in the back of there head that this could happen again and why are they bothering to play a game when they can't "play the game".

    A solution to this problem would be to make at least the first 3 starting maps neutral like the base maps, making it so players can engage in PvP if they so want to by either attacking the individual and or going into the "Battle maps" or into the upper maps. That or making a drone formation like X formation or something new that would enable players to be immune to pvp until they changed it. Simply doing one of these options would benefit new players by just allowing them the basic breathing room of farming. Most new players don't have any chance against anyone who has spent more than 100 hours in the game even with the starting missions. It's just a suggestion to try and help the newbies out and the average player who is just trying to have a good time farming.

    Example: You are doing a basic farming mission for sib's or dev's on your starting maps. Nothing feels worse or more irritating than getting the enemy down to low health and seeing a enemy player show up with drill formation and full havoc in a pusat. They hover near you and kill you in two shots and then steal your kill. You now have one of three options that all suck. You can either go back to your base map and be annoyed at knowing the other player is still roaming those maps preventing you from playing. Spawn at a nearby portal and be camped by the player and or just re-spawn on the spot and risk being instantly killed again. With basic map changes and or a formation for drones or something along these lines you can prevent a lot of headache and loss of interest in players.

    Issue 2#

    The games overall progression system is redundant to all hell. Trying to get power and or get anywhere in this game is annoyingly difficult or just so slow and grindy it's just a turn off in general. Basic progression of power is fine at first until you see everything turns into a uridium fest. Everything and I mean everything requires thousands upon thousand of mountains of uridium for such a stupidly small increase in power. To the point where the developers are trying to find new ways of making the power ceiling even higher for players who have reached said ceiling rather than focus on fixing core game elements. E.I.

    The core aspects of the game being, farming enemies, gathering resources, movement in game, variety of weaponry, skill based aspects (which basically don't exist lol) and overall performance.

    Farming in this game is tedious and not very rewarding, being as the scale has no middle ground to speak of. The enemies are either stupidly easy to kill with one to 4 shots with basically no reward or they are stupidly tanky and take forever to kill for a reward that can hardly have been said to worth it. The enemies that are easy to kill clump together in what is call a ball of space trash or garbage that just is mildly annoying or just irritating to look at. The bigger enemies just seem like a waste of time to fight as the reward is simply disappointing and not worth the 5 minutes of orbiting and shooting.

    A fix for something like this would probably lay along the lines of a method of actual crowd control to handle multiple enemies, either by getting something that lets you have an aoe attack or effect. Something that allows you to focus lasers onto more than one target by decreasing damage and increasing miss chance. That and including new formation for your drones or weapons that allowed players to hit harder against npc's in new methods. The scatter and lance are good starting steps for new players but maybe something new that focuses on decreasing enemy damage or has higher shield penetration for slower firing speed or rearm of rockets. Something unique that would boost not only variety but methods on how to do the most basic aspect of the game.

    Resources in the game are the most boring thing to farm in all honesty and I think everyone would agree with me that it's basically as fun as a clicker game on your phone. Just taping a resource waiting for your to collect a single unit of it and then clicking the next one. Make the resources obtainable in higher quantities perhaps to boost the collection process. Add chunks of ore like I've seen in other games to mine or drill the resource but they require maybe a new laser drill or cpu that would compromise combat against other people or makes you more exposed to damage. Shooting it like you would an enemy to destroy and collect the chunks in larger quantities. If something like this does get put into the game it's probably best to make it logically in some form of pirate or more exposed part of the map where it would actually pose a risk but don't make so simple that a small group of people could lock down the area and mine the ore so that no one would be able to. This could open the maps with nothing really going on up to new combat zones or provide more challenge for elite players to get defensive on said maps to help there company or clan members farm. Perhaps they could have a function similar to clan stations allowing for prime times to strike. If this where to be put in even for just an event I think a lot of people would see this as a cool addition to the basic part of the game.

    As for the final aspect of the game is skill. This game is overly reliant on just straight up click and spam x4 and rsb along with spamming formations of drones and movement. This is skill on such a numbed down level. Something needs to change in order for players to actually fight back against elites or stronger players so that there is some form of challenge and it isn't just a slaughter fest for the elite. I've seen it in star-craft and dota 2 game where you can use abilities to create fields on the map that would block vision or movement similar to pirate map debris fields. Skill based things that would provide challenge to enemies and other players in a new light. Giving the players the ability to buy these skill/abilities in the shop as CPU's or something to change how you would play the game in such a linear fashion. Make them skilled based on positioning and speed angle and how they have been formatted with upgrades. So that you can pick a ship like a Goliath and have the ability to shoot a healing pod or stunning emp to shut down alien ships for a few seconds rather than just shoot them and circle them. Make it so ships can be formatted with different abilities that would create different situations and battles between players. Rather than seeing who hits hard because one person has more havoc or lf-4's.

    Issue 3#

    The Quest system is just bad regardless to change that have been made. The UI is fantastic and should be left that way or improved upon. The regular quests for anyone under lvl 16 are garbage. New players are suckered into a false sense of how great the quests are with the first set of starting op quests giving lf-3's and tons of GG energy. Only to be met with the real quests that require you to kill a ton of stupidly powerful enemies for only 20 to 80 uridium until you start killing lordakiums and kristallons. The quests should follow the same mentality as the starting quests just on a smaller scale. I suggest adding some form of ammunition or some small amount of GG energy in some of the quests so it's not just a quest to kill like 30 lordakia's and 20 siamons for 40 uridium and a few thousand experience. In order for the quest system to seem more fulfilling for the lower levels and over all the goal should not be for players to look for the highest Uridium yield in there quest log and which one gives a lf-4 but to look at all the quest and say that they all look like there worth it. For instance make some of them give like 100-ucb ammo or some give like 5 GG energy nothing insane until the higher levels but just to keep the quests from looking like a waste of time.

    This is really all I have at the moment to write about. Hopefully this wasn't stupidly TLDR and you see the gist of what i'm trying to convey. Just want to see what some of your opinions are if anyone bothers to read this. I'm open to seeing what people think. I just would like to see this game progress in a good direction instead of just slowly trail off and die.

  2. I can agree with most of what you have stated with the exception of issue #3. If you did ALL of the PvE quests, including the BORING Daily missions, you would find you can gain a level in rank for every level you open up, as they are currently computed (or at least I managed to do it). I have never been good at locking another player so PvP has never been an option for me, BUT when I created these 2 accounts I had already found the Level Invasion Gate was a waste of time as the lower level gates were under populated and you would never collect from damage caused to the NPC's like we used to, when I started this game, but would always be at the next level before I was done with the current level missions. This continues up to level 20 which is as high as any of my accounts have made it. The EVENTS would help but with the MCC's controlling them there is not much chance to gain anything from them.

    But the key thing here is that players below level 12 (access to X-8 map) need to have a protection against PvP attacks by the UFE hunters, being popped while killing any upper map NPC's and being sent to the X-1 map really stinks (until they added the Advanced Jump Chip and 2 new repair options).
     
  3. This is a 24-7 365 day and night game. I don't see why they don't have 24 hour events especially on the weekends this will keep the interest of the costumers aka players going.... Its like you enter the game there is nothing going on just the same ol' Trash Talk on chat lol time to logout now bye now go play some other game that has it going on... The mentality has to change in the Developer Teams end. Now I know what its like in Germany to work there since I use to live there and work there, it has to be an all for one and one type of deal and all come in to agreement for things to change in this German game.... One thing I did like about Germany is they are open for Ideas and that is what they have going for them, you can lead a house to water but you can not make him drink
