[UI] Radiation Zone Specials

I was thinking about placing special bonus boxes deep inside radiation zones . Beginners used to have "radiation zone " missions a long time ago. (when I first started playing the game). Or implementing a new set of radiation zone missions for more advanced players. Any items placed in radiation zone would be obtainable by any ship , with the right configuration and a little luck.
Items available would be at the discretion of TDO. Along with any other benefits , such as honor , experience , uri , etc...
A new CPU or PET gear could also be developed to enhance search capability .
I think this would add a new and interesting facet to the game that may interest some players who may be bored with the same old types of missions. The idea of entering a hostile environment on purpose to obtain something awesome has a certain appeal to me and I would like to see some feedback on this.From both players and TDO. Obviously all the details would have to be worked out but , I think it's doable .
Variables may include which maps missions would be on , and or which days or hours this event may be scheduled ,if it is made an "event". It could be as spontaneous as a/an santa bot or icy meteoroid where a notification that an item has just materialized in radiation zone in your vicinity.
There are many many possibilities which could be brainstormed .
Hope this plants a seed for some new game features in the future.
