I would like to choose my own color for my space ship, not a ship already painted. a blank ship ( ordainarygoli ) and a option list listed with different colors to choose from, pleases

 

That is a great idea. However having color and design specialized ships is one of DarkOrbit's largest selling pitches-- for example, the new carbonite designs and the SpaceCup Cyborg designs have been a large source of revenue for the company. It would be a tough decision for the company to decide to surrender their monopoly over the graphic designs of the ships, unless doing so would outweigh the negative aspects of that decision.

 

To branch off both of your ideas, have a scheme you can get that allows you to pick colors. It would be a blank pallet with an outline. A primary and a secondary color. Maybe even have special colors (such as a galaxy theme, fading themes, etc.) that you can collect. This would most definitely be more popular than any single design DO can come out with and would probably profit much more. To keep the single designs special, all of the schemes that are released should not be able to be customized so that they are the same.
Also an option - keep releasing single designs, but only allow customization if the player receives that option. You would get the design, but you would have to get the customization separately from a box or purchase. If you purchase the design, customization is included.
