While there is a 'Like' and 'Reply' selection that forum perusers can use, I believe there should also be a 'Dislike' button.

 

I don't know ]Coldheart[ I could see the [Dislike] as a form of "Baiting/Flaming" a thread/post , Now maybe a "Block Filter" may be the more appropriate method of controlling what messages an individual could be more comfortable with such as that used in the chat client. I myself enjoy what others may have to offer even if the post may go "off topic" to illustrate the topic itself .... there is always the "Report" link on the lower left side if a user feels uncomfortable with matters involving a thread or post ... I hope this helps ...

 

Votes are usually forbidden anyways. There's been only one thread where that could have been useful and it's the community design contest.

 

I could go for this idea. Its simple and could keep a lot of the threads shorter. Not everyone likes an idea and when they express there reasons for the dislike, normally get harped on with non-essential mess because the OP does not like that their idea is disliked. A dislike choice would allow a person to hit dislike and move on without leaving a comment. Although in the end, it could look like votes, if somebody looks a the comments that are left in a thread, that is like a voting scale in itself. Odin® has a point with the Flaming as we have a lot of childlike mindsets in the game and when they find they don't like someone, they just don't like anything that the person says, even if it is just a simple "Hi."
