[TI] kami not working

i bought a kamikaze for my pet...have tried several times and kami does not work. i checked to make sure it was loaded on both configs and it is, my pet has fuel and life-other options on the pet like guard and looter work just fine,,,am i missing something? can someone help me?

Many people have had this issue before and many still do, but there is an easy fix!
- For the Kamikaze Gear to work, you will have to damage your PET to a certain percentage of health. Please do take a note that if you destroy your PET, you will loose honour BE CAREFUL! It cannot destroy itself when it has too much health.

Another thing to look at if I am correct, you have to be attacked before the PET can launched towards the target and explode.

Instead of attacking your pet though you can just drop a mine on yourself while your pet is out and that will damage it enough to use kami and even if your pet pops you will not loose honor.

 

its not an issue no one uses it as intended ..... its meant to be a last resort to take your nme down with you

Issue has a lot of meanings;

matter, matter in question, affair, business, subject, topic, question, point, point at issue, item, thing, case, concern, theme; proceeding, situation, occasion, circumstance; problem, bone of contention, controversy, argument

Some people may not have a mine (there are a few people who start the game and buy everything they see).

Um you don't have to buy ddm mines they come out in cargo boxes all the time i myself have not bought one in years and still have around 2000 of them just from picking up boxes.

 

Your response is correct response. I suggest OP should also read FAQ on PET .

 

The best thing to remember is if you plan to use your PET for Kami then you only repair it with the initial repair after it has been blown up. Remove the repair chip so it can not accidentally be further repaired. Have a Red Lock on something near you and be taking damage from something and it will pop items in that area (mordon, saimon, lordakia, boss lordakia, streuner, recruit streuner, aider streuner, and boss streuner will all pop when near the PET when it goes off). If having to damage your PET to reduce its HP then you also can not be in an outfit as the PET is protected from accidental lock from anyone in the outfit, including yourself.

Your PET firing lasers will also not cancel any Missions that require you to kill NPC's without firing lasers or to kill with rockets only.

 

Thanks for the responses...my pet is NOT at full health and still will not kami. It will shoot npc's while kami is on. I tried dropping several acm mines and then running over them with pet in tow but it still would not kami when i surrounded myself with npcs even after having taken damage i do not have pet repairer on either...my pet is lvl 1 kami do I perhaps need to wait and shell out uri for a lvl 3 before the kami will work? my pet is at lvl 6 and kami is loaded on both configs...i visited the pet faq pages (thank-yu) but i'm still stumped why it wont work, the other "gears" work like they are supposed to work.

 

How much HP does the PET have? My pet currently has 6500 and pops just fine with Kami activated. It does require me to be taking damage for him to activate and pop but he does kill the targets I have wanted him to kill.

 

The least your pet has in health the better kami will work . When my pet repairs enough that kami doesn't work i will use mines and pop my pet , you don't loose honor if you use a mines then your pet should come back with almost no heath but enough to still work. Then try kami cause it sounds to me like your pet still has to much hp.

 

that did it...i had to run my pet over a direct damage mine and destroy it then i repaired it and now the kami is working as it should-the acm mine didnt destroy it like the ddm mine did thanks for your help.
